Finsihing the prep for the dinner party tonight...all the cleaning and table setting is done.

All the food is semi-prepped and ready to finish.

Just have to do the powder room and tidy the garage a bit...the snow has blocked all the other doors with bent over shrubs so they have to use the trade entrance. :rotflmao:
 
Having a nice strong cappuccino and cinnamon. And I wonder why I dont sleep well. :)
 
Up late this morning and just getting my bearings before tackling the clean-up from last night.

At the moment doing some prep for Turkey Tetrazzini with egg noodles.

Turkey didn't get eaten Christmas day so I can make a few casseroles for some elderly neighbors in disposable tins.
 
Just made an appointment with a GI doctor because I think I have an ulcer. I usually google the doctor my insurance refers me to, so I googled this guy and he's fucking hot looking!

You have to take your shirt off for a GI exam, right?

"So, Mr. Peloso, where's the pain?"

"It's usually in my lower abdomen."

The doctor post above made me think of an old joke:

Pondering whether or not to do a load of laundry tonight... I really don't have the energy. On the other hand, it would be nice to have a few things clean. And it would be one less load to do this weekend. But right now, laziness is winning.

We had a real 'old peoples' day' today.

I had a Nuclear Med scan at 8 am and 11:30 am and in between we did all these little errands and shopping without any real pressure and it made me think of my parents and so many other old married couples that go into town to do the Doctorin' and shoppin' and then have lunch at Red Lobster or McDonalds.

I seem to have had a mild reaction to the holiday season spent part of this afternoon napping.
 
Getting ready to have a lie down after baking a pumpkin custard and making more pastry for beef and turkey meat pies to go into the freezer.

Took some pregabelin for my ankle and right leg and it just dulls everything.
