My current supply of coffee (almost gone) is also Signature Select, except it's French Roast. My next bag of coffee is same brand, but Italian Roast. There is a good sale on this at the moment, but even apart from that, I'm quite happy.

Getting up to skillet fry some potatoes, have leftover Popeye's, and cook some pole beans.

Went to see a matinee of Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale earlier. It was better than I had hoped. Was nice to see all the actors now, years later, like visiting ghosts of beloved family members. It was a nice way to be distracted while Mr. Kirk is being lauded as some martyr.

I just saw a headline for some article explaining why potatoes turn green, and whether you can eat them. I didn't read the article, but my sarcastic thought: Yes, you can eat a green potato. But if you do, you might get sick.

It will give me the opportunity to give back to the cabbages that have given me so much.
