  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Attention What are you doing at the moment? 2024-25

My lover went out to lunch. I bought 10-year-old Calvados (for our X-mas pudding) and asked some Brit ladies what I could use for a vegetarian version (making the trad version too).

ATM we're back at the hotel room.
What have they suggested?

My suggestion would be frozen vegetable shortening.

Earlier, I was using some software that converts voice to text. It had some trouble with the words oral sex.

Not that if I would ever mention oral sex in anything that I would write. Oh no, of course not. I'm too pure minded.

(Oddly, with this post, the software suddenly seems to have figured out how to recognize oral sex. Maybe it's heard it enough times by now to have figured out it out...)

Mellowing with a Tylenol 3...for my back.

I try to avoid them except at bedtime but it is not a good back day.

And about to slide up and give Sissi some supper before we settle.

She has gained about a pound I think and here fur is no longer tragic.

I'm currently in bed wrapped up with a pile of blankets. I don't know if being here is a sign of seasonal depression, or if it's just the fact that it feels cold in the place where I live.

I still really miss having a functioning computer, and I am really irritated by a lot of aspects of using a smartphone to stay connected to the Internet.

But one thing I do like about this phone--no love about it--is that I can use it from the comfort of my warm bed, unlike my last computer.

I just had to get up for a couple of minutes to restart the cranky Wi-Fi router.

I suppose I should get up and try to make dinner. Although if I didn't, and I starved to death, at least I wouldn't have to worry seasonal depression ever again!

Back in bed after breakfast. About to get coffee.

Listening to a few YouTube podcasts.

Isn't life horrible sometimes? Today is bliss, but I'm feeling a little bit woozy. Might be the weather, might be the multifarious alcoholic beverages I drank Wednesday night that I still feel.

Is Sonnema Berenburg supposed to taste like burnt rubber?

Thinking on why ever did I grab a Robert Barnard mystery to read while caring for our sick kitty.

I never learn.

His characters are ill thought out, he makes outrageous leaps in exposition and assumptions by his characters...his plots are silly and his view of post war Britain is at one and the same time boringly nostalgic and yet condescending.

I've got my cock in my hand and I'm squeezing it as I read what everybody else wrote! I have not cum today, yet I hope I can do so soon!

I am thankful that Thanksgiving is over with, but unfortunately I am still stuck with the rest of this fucking holiday season.

At least I managed to get up like usual today.

Although if I died in my sleep last night, it would have meant that I would be spared the holiday season!

Looking for the X-mas pudding recipe, while Dubai Bling is on.
.
Found it! It was with the tin.

Bought some green currents earlier. First time I've seen those. They're going in.

Plan to make an additional X-mas pudding without suet (if that one fails we'll still have one made with the old recipe). Talked to two English ladies who made theirs with a vegetable gelling agent. Will try that.

Not convinced it will work at all, but I don't want to disappoint one of our guests who only eats vegetarian.

3D printing Christmas stuff and Caturdaying. I need a cup of coffee but the boys are too comfortable on my lap.

Back from shopping.

The Turkish guy behind the desk in the 'Polish' shop (full of Vodka but owned by Turks) was speaking Polish to a Pole who was buying a gas lighter. One of the only two Polish words I know.

The shop is full of booze for the Polish workers who work the flower fields here.

I needed to get some rum, which I got there.
