Attention What are you doing at the moment? 2024-25

Teaching myself how to TIG weld. This is the first non-practice job I’m working on. Picked a more challenging part, no straight line, finishing at the start point and I can’t burn the edge. I only had one spot I had to go back and fill in.

Lonnnnng day today.

Juggling 12 different client projects today, with Zoom calls to Vienna, running out for an in-person meeting that I did not want and then coming back to fire out all the files and emails...just finished.

Still have a lot of abdominal pain this afternoon so numbing with codeine...not good, but still not bad enough to hit emerg yet.

Worse, with the abdominal issues, no wine or beer to relax with after work.... :cry:
 
Pondering a package of tomatoes I got. The package is clearly marked "grape tomatoes" but the tomatoes are \\ cherry tomatoes. I am pondering a frivolous law suit, alleging trauma due to the substitution of cherry tomatoes for the expected grape tomatoes.

Just booked a last-minute getaway to Dallas to see my former co-worker who calls me her brother.

Flying out of Nashville to take her next weekend to see Trae Crowder at an improv. Inexpensive hop and haven't seen her since 2017.

Trae's a scream and she's smart as a whip so this should be fun, heat nothwithstanding. Booked a table, flight, and car rental.

Hate flying, but 2 hrs. isn't too bad.
 
Finished dinner...such as it was. A few cashew nuts and a pickle sandwich. Ye Olde grocery budget was pretty much used up. Although I did stay something like 94 cents within the budget.
 
Took out recycling and there was a snake on the patio by my door that scared me. :waaaah:

while semi-watching news programs on the TV

I'm also petting a dog that is quite cetain he should have a snack.
I know this because he actually brought me the snack bag.

Just finished breakfast. I went to McDonald's to get a breakfast sandwich and coffee and as I started down the street I saw something in the street across the street and wondered what it was, if it was trash or someone's wallet, or whatever. I slowed down and looked out the window and it was a turtle. I have seen turtles in our neighborhood at least twice before in the last sixty some years, but it is rare. I'll go for my morning walk soon, but it is in the mid 70's F. Don't know if I'll walk outside or go someplace air conditioned.
