I had a sad experience with my last blow up doll. I got it inflated. It looked at me with its big painted-on eyes. The eyes got bigger as the doll stared at me. It finally screamed: "NO!!!!! I can't have sex with a guy who looks like you!!!!!!" It then clawed at its own eyes...and that turned out to be fatal for it.

Rest in peace, love doll.

After that sad experience, I decided against ever having a love doll again.

I'm sat on a sofa in the front room, or the lounge if you prefer. The telly is on just for a bit of noise and the cat is doing 'the loaf' by the fire.

Still recovering from being shaken awake in the night by a helicopter flying low over our farm...and getting geared up to clear a few work items away before tomorrow.
 
Going out to breakfast. Just woke up from falling asleep watching The Deer Hunter on one of the free channels. Robert de Niro was so handsome, even at 35 or so when he made the movie. I had forgotten how good it was. Didn't remember that Christopher Walken received Best Supporting Actor for it. He was still handsome. That really was a long time ago. I hadn't seen it in decades. All I really remembered was the VC guy shouting "Mao!" and the terror of that torture.
 
Oh, what am I doing? I just finished watching the Flyers-Devils hockey game on TV. Flyers won, 3-1. Pride Night at the Flyers is this Tuesday vs. Detroit and I'll be there.

Getting ready to watch RuPaul's Drag Race from last night.
 
Just got a load of towels started. Anticipating The Drama to Come: will the washer behave when the spin cycle comes or not?

I happily remember a better time in my life when I had appliances to use that just worked with no drama.

I was watching a marathon of America's Test Kitchen the same time Ali said he was. Bridget and Julia were making a Tater Tot Hot Dish casserole with mushrooms and ground beef I think. They were artfully lining the top with Tater tots.

Looked a bit murky but probably tasted good.

I hope to God that Dan is someone's tat tot. He's got a genuinely generous disposition, high standards, and he loves his cats. That's three good marks. And he's cute, cute, cyute!

I've seen almost all the ATK episodes, so don't watch as much now. Noticed Bridget and Julia setting up a beef tenderloin program yesterday and changed channels. Do we NEED recipes for beef tenderloin? :lol:

"What's Eating Dan" on YouTube is particularly fun, as he let's his hair down a little more than on the show and is funny. I think he does all the writing for the episodes.

I feel about Dan the same way I do most cute, smart guys I work with or see on media, straight or gay. If I can't have him for my mate, I wish he has all the happiness in the world with his own partner. I don't envy them, just want to believe they are finding happiness, which makes me happy. And I'm happy anyway, but romantically, vicarious.
