I picked up a CD (remember those? :lol: ) at the on-going library Friends sale. It referenced Mark Levinson, which is a name that could apply to either a $$$$ audio equipment name, or else the man who originally founded the company. As I did research, I found that Mark Levinson (the man) was (according to Wikipedia) married to Kim Cattrall, who played Miss Honeywell in Porky's. Of course, I've never seen such trash as Porky's ( :^o ), but if I had, one of my favorite lines was uttered by her, when she said the guys' locker room always turned her on.
 
Thinking of the good looking cashier at a hardware store yesterday. I would have enjoyed it if--to put this into hardware store terms--I'd had a chance to see his tool...
 
Just put some country ribs in the oven to slow bake.

I went to the park for my Saturday walk. There’s a lot of tree damage from the storm earlier in the week. There’s at least 15 trees down along the 4 mile stretch that I walk.

I needed to take the mower over the front yard and bag all the accumulated grass clippings....and then we had a 10 minute shower so they are all wet.

Then I thought I would dig potatoes and weed the garden....and we had another shower.

But I did the best and came in...it keeps showering off and on every 1/2 hour just as I go back out to do another chore....so I am going to surf porn and then have a nap.
 
Took an 8 mile hike along the river, then stopped at Home Depot on the way home. Picked up paint for the living room trim and ceiling (yes it’s been 8 months) and tools for tearing up the carpet and carpet tacks.

I just finished ripping up the carpet in the living room, hallway and 2 bedrooms.

Now I’m resting before cooking dinner. I think I’ll have leftover bbq ribs and carrots.
 
Playing the CD I mentioned a few days ago that apparently was originally recorded by Mark Levinson, who created more than one $$$$ audio equipment company. I am wondering how Levinson would feel about me playing this on a Denon CD player that cost me $15 at Goodwill, instead of a $$$$$ CD player...

Old tile that is in decent shape but since the house is from the 40s it probably asbestos. I’m going to put vinyl laminate flooring, I just haven’t decided on wood look or tile.

Apollo walks on his tippy toes where the carpet was. There’s tile in the kitchen so I don’t know why he doesn’t like it. Zeus was helping me the same way he helps with putting sheets on the bed. In the way playing on the carpet as I rolled it up.
