Attention What are you doing at the moment? 2024-25

Just looked at my Internet bill, which has gone up since last month.

As I've mentioned, for various reasons, I may be forced to get a cheap smart phone with a prepaid plan to stay minimally connected. I have hoped to avoid that, because I'd end up needing to use library Internet for a lot. (I'd probably at that point stop posting here, which would probably delight more than one person here! :lol:) But I have to admit I'm annoyed enough at the moment with this bill to think I might just go ahead, anyway, with the smart phone/prepaid idea...
 
I got back 1 1/2 hours ago from have a cyst removed next to my eye. I came home cut up some potato's into fries, soaked in cold water, just cooked for the first fry, will cook for the second fry when my sister gets home for fries and a burger.

Oh well...at tleast there is always the library, thank goodness.

We have a number of people in our village who are either too cheap of too income limited to have full service at home and it becomes a bit of a social club, so there's that.

Part of me yearns for the day, when I finally can disconnect from 12 hours/day for business and just log on when I am bored.
 
omg. I am so fucked up.

Went for a nap, because it wasn't going to be possible to mow the lawn today after the rain last night and woke with a crack of thunder and torrents of rain coming down.

But it was so dark that I thought is was 5pm in the morning and then when I realized it wasn't tomorrow, thought it must have been around 9pm in the evening today and then when I realized it wasn't, thought oh shit...the water is pounding in through my open window.

But it wasn't because my window had been closed.

So yeah. It was around 3:30 in the afternoon. We had huge, heavy rain storm.

It's so disappointing when I wake up like that thinking I finally got a good long sleep only to realize I was only down for about an hour or so - again.
 
I slept all night for the first time in a week. The cats even let me sleep in till 630.

I just finished mopping the floors.

My little sweetheart was born in a makeshift birthing room I made for her mother just inches from where I'm sat - 20 years ago.

I have to run her grub through the blender and feed her every couple of hours. I'm not complaining.:)
 
I want food and sex, or sex and food, too.

But realistically, I can forget about ever having sex. :cry:

And I have a limited grocery budget. :cry:
 
I checked the weather a while ago. The current condtions forecast claimed "Cloudy." Amazing clouds--they were apparently busy drumming on the roof. :lol:
 
Today was a literal washout so I am doing some office work ahead of tomorrow.

It was also filled so .far with dumping the contents of a small
spare' freezer downstairs...soups, all our cabbage rolls and sauerkraut. Boo.

But it was better we founmd out now than a month from now.

I think it will be a nap day after I clean up some more downstairs.
