Attention What are you doing at the moment? 2024-25

I just deleted 153 spam emails from my email account. That is a daily thing right now, not weekly. I know some of it is because an election is coming up and I am getting those as well as other other junk.

Do you ever block the sender instead of just deleting?

No, I'm guessing I would have to open it in order to block the sender. I just delete the email without opening it. Some of them I may want to get at another time. I think about donating to some political ones, but rarely do. I was getting three a day from Jockey, once a week would have been enough. I want to order from them about once or so a year.

^ Thinking some more about this. I am afraid to open some of them. I have heard that sometimes it triggers something or other undesirable.

Today I deleted 135 emails but I opened and read about 13 to 15 and then deleted them. I don't want to open anything I am unsure about, or don't need to, so most I just deleted without opening.

You should be able to block a sender without opening it.

I don't see how to do that, but I am not tech savvy at all. I just counted that 13 of my 19 new emails were of a political nature. I am not sure which, if any, of these I would want to permanently block. Most of them should stop coming after the election and I just checkmark the email and delete them in mass. Thank you for your suggestion and help.

I know with Gmail I can click on a senders little icon on the left and then report that sender "as spam"

Without opening the email. And I believe that will block the sender. I know the more I report spam the less emails I receive.

Good luck:)

Busy work day before we leave for Vermont tomorrow morning!

I think I have everything done I needed to do...

I think that I found it. Thanks Vannie.

Watching hockey on TV. It's Utah at the NY Islanders, and my cable system is giving me the coverage from Utah.
