Attention What are you doing at the moment? 2024-25

I just scanned a document and attached it to an email and sent it. I am so happy that I was able to do something new by myself. Small steps. I have been having trouble scanning before and although I have attached documents from word, I haven't been able to attach from a scan by myself before.

Today we are feeling the effects of COVID, including some fever and chills and sore throats.

So not doing too much.
 
Im in my hometown visiting. I’m on my way to my favourite little takeaway store to get chips and gravy for lunch.
 
Still feeling like shit, but have had to do some work today. So I am in my moosey pyjamas with a tshirt and a sweat-shirt half wrapped in a blanket at my desk at home.

I don't remember having headaches the last time around, but can't seem to get rid of it.

Called the Doc this AM and got a scrip for Paxlovid...unfortunately it means we now have to drive to the pharmacy to pick it up and it is dull and cold and rainy.

Meanwhile. We are wishing for death today. Although the temp was warm.

Everything hurts and I can only stay upright for about an hour at a time.
 
I have my period and a cold. So I'm sitting on the recliner with a Kleenex hanging out my nose and eating Bonbons watching TV.
 
On ZOOM with my American friends trying to make sense of what has happened and cracking open a bottle of Tuscan red with them to try to work through their fear and anxiety.

It is bad out there. Our homo friends and family and our female friends are beyond horrified.

This time it is different. It looks like a direct assault on decency and equality.

A number of them are asking for advice and assistance on leaving the US because they also have Canadian ties and antecedents.

Feeling so sad for all our American friends and family at risk after Trump is installed in January.
