Relaxing after dinner. Broke 'my' 1971 bed earlier today and squirted bedbug spray in the holes.

It's standing outside. Tomorrow the cleaning resumes.
 
'Housecleaning' and businessing today.

One of my clients has decided that our meeting tomorrow should be live, so I am losing a day in the run-up to the family dinner on Christmas Day.

My back is killing me and I am reminded agin why we absolutely must find a cleaning person in the new year.

I think I will have to take a Robax and lay down for awhile.

I am also thinking that I might not pull out all the best china and silver this year because of the cleaning of it before and the clean-up after. I also remembered today that all the silver flatware needs a polish but just don't see where I will find the time. And as much as I do actually love pressing the linen for the table...we might have to take a pass and then hope that Easter dinner is more relaxed.

Maybe my niece and nephew-in-law will get the hint and realize it is kind of now their turn to step up for Christmas dinner.
 
Ordering Chicken Parmesan and a huge salad with semolina bread and butter. Starving.
 
I just saw the weather forecast says it will be windy tommorow.

Does this mean that Vannie is having stuffed cabbage and will be coming to my area?

Just turned the Christmas Pudding out of its mold...another perfect Nanna's pudding (my mother used to refer to it as Nanna's legacy).

Trying to keep the girls from going at one another. They are both getting coal this year.

And with the cleaning done, and prep for Christmas dinner tomorrow done as much as it can be, all that is remaining is to put the pumpkin pie dough together in about 1/2 hour to chill overnight and to
settle in for the evening after we have our christmas eve meal of Beppe's Dutch (Frisian?) soup. The soup of the angels.
