Just got back from my healthy walk around two blocks. There was a house on the next street where a large branch had fallen off across a car in their driveway. Another neighbor was just arriving with a chain saw to help them with it.

Just finished making chicken soup.(raw rainy day out) and finished doing laundry.

Meet Pogo. This is the opossum which has taken up residence in my utility room for at least the last couple of weeks or so. I had to do yard work this morning, but fortunately I didn't have to go anywhere near him to get the tools I needed. He's probably OK there for now, but eventually I'm going to have to get to the gas cans when I need to mow the lawn (or weeds).

Making cabbage soup, laundry, pre- easter clean of the house before family descends next week, finding stuffed mice jammed into places Missy hasn't been able to fish them from...Jubbing and about to have a nap after a painkiller for my back and a glass of red wine with lunch.
