Was a favorite variety when I was young. I think I encountered it first at my grandmother's. I've seen dairy free equivalents that I'm tempted to try--but don't really need the sugar or fat! Although ti's easier resisting this time of year, when it's too cold for me to have anything frozen.

Oh dear. I am on the heating pad again for my lower back after some vacuuming and shoving furniture around. A gift from my paternal side...but it likely serves me right because it won't get any better by me not treating my back like glass.

The cheese bread turned out so fucking great, my partner and I could have just eaten the whole loaf right now...but it got frozen for his breakfast toast and I got one crust and one slice for baker's treat.

Wednesday morning... although I am confident I am sober in most ways, I have been experiencing after-effects, thought-images, that must be inspired on what I took in the small hours of Monday morning.

Now, I am a very image-oriented person but these 'images' (NOT hallucinations) deviate slightly from the regulary images in my head, and are a little more compelling than the images at the back of my head.

I think about death a lot, these days. One of the images, however, is an upside-down skull, that serves as a flower-pot of sorts, (but not set on something as pedestrian as a window sill).
