We bought a boatload of Halloween candy. So at the moment I'm trying hard not to eat it.

This time of year (2 weeks before Halloween) I would normally "allow" myself to buy a bag of fun size Baby Ruth's and Butterfingers to give out on Halloween. But by the time Halloween rolled around I would be out of the Baby Ruth's, so off to the store to buy more. Then after Halloween when I would go to a couple of stores and get many many bags of various kinds of candy at 50 to 75% off. I'd keep a couple of bags and take the rest to work to contribute to the break room snacks. But these days I can only dream of munching on candy since I don't have the will power to just eat one a day. I don't buy any for the greedy trick-or-treaters either. I just keep the lights off and hide in the basement.

Had some NEP (fake designer chem coke) and shared my amyl with my date in the next village.

We were having sex in his bathroom when we saw a much older guy downstairs in the garden. My date told me the guy knew the way, and the guy took a dead hare from the shed. Either poached or hunted. Didn´t ask my date. Hunting is not very big in these parts a all, but I worked at a farm here where a guy from the area talked about it.

When I got home. Mom was already there. I tried to look normal, but my nose was running and my voice had changed because of the NEP.

Expected her to be home 2 hours later than that. Good thing I didn´t have any hook-up over!

Since it´s autumn here she asked me if I had a cold, which I somewhat acknowledged.

It was like being 15 all over again!

Under the infuence started making a chocolate cake, but boiled four oranges instead of two -that were needed for candied peel- and my mother got them out.

It's a beautiful area here. Hope they don't destroy it.

Baby Ruth's are good.

Reeses makes these kinda peanut butter nougat and caramel bars that for me are pretty addictive. And of course Snickers Kit Kats and Crunch Bars.


I made homemade potato salad and I have burgers ready to go on the grill along with extra cheese carmelized onions and bacon. Looking forward to a nice fat burger.

Our city vacuums the piles of leaves put out by the curb. This morning our city truck was vacuuming next door and one guy was driving and one guy was using the vacuum hose and a third guy was standing there. I expected him to have a rake to help condense the pile, but he didn't but he would occasionally kick the leaves closer. I guess kicking helps, haha. I have done that in the past as well.

Waiting for a ZOOM meeting with a client and working from home today.

On Friday, I had the car door blow shut as I was getting in and the edge caught right across the main vein in my left leg. I have an IVC filter so really don't have to worry as much about clots...but it definitely has triggered off phlebitis which is not fun at fucking all.
