Attention What are you having for dinner?

I had white beans over cornbread.

Also baked a streusel yogurt Bundt cake for my neighbors who are moving. Took it over only to find out they pushed out their move date by a week. Good for them. Enough insanity without rushing needlessly. Closing isn't until a week after that.

Tonight was a tuna fish sandwich on a hamburger bun. Lots of tuna (whole can), not so much bread. Soft and velvety.

Bought some antipasto pasta salad from my local Dillons (a Kroger store) grocery store deli. Never had it before.
I ate the whole container (4 1/4 servings).

As reliable as a lunar cycle is the end of the month oh shit! the grocery budget is depleted and I still have to eat! blues. Once again, I'm addressed that with Spanish rice from the fine kitchens of Rice-A-Roni. To which I added a few extra ingredients to make it a bit healthier and pretend I actually "cooked" dinner.

I also had a salad.

I think sandwiches...maybe honey ham on toasted ciabatta.

Something simple.

I drove to NH to pick up cigarettes for sister. On the way back picked up chinese food near where I use to live. My sister loves the food.
So boneless spareribs, pork fried rice, chicken fingers and pork strips. She doesn't like rice, so that was for me.

I was wrong.

Tortellini in brodo.

I forgot we had made some and frozen them....perfect night for them.

Chili beans, potato buns, a salad, and a few cherries.

I'm thinking maybe I could develop a program that is based on the idea of "you are what you eat" that focuses on eating potato buns. I'm tentatively thinking the video could be titled Buns of Potato.

I went out and had a glass of Malbec, and then a sort of crispy fried boiled and smashed potato chunks with a chicken sandwiich which was notable for having fried thigh meat.

The ketchup for the potatoes was far, far too sweet, so I asked for Italian dressing, but they had none. Instead, they offered an apple & honey vinaigrette. When it arrived, I was flummoxed to find it tasted like banana. Could have been a trick on the taste buds by the honey with applie, but the 2nd saucier they brought me tasted like apple, so I think someone got adventurous in the kitchen.

Dessert was a brown butter pecan pie, chilled. It was topped with chocolate syrup, which I found alien to the idea of brown butter. The whipped cream appeared to be aerosol, so wasn't wonderful.

Service was very professional. It was at Tupelo Honey I had dined there in Asheville a couple of years ago, but was breakfast, so my first time to take dinner there.

Bacon, eggs and toast.

We had such a huge feed of pasta last night, I still am full.

Today was making a marina sauce with sweet sausages, meatballs and stew meat. I meant to buy fresh spaghetti, but forgot to pick it up when I was at the supermarket. I went with elbows that were in the cabinet.

I went with chicken nuggets and cooking left over bacon.
Today was hot in the 80's and didn't want to use the oven.
So it was bacon with chicken nuggets on the side, or chicken nuggets with bacon on the side. Two choices.;)

I had a big lunch of bbq pork sandwiches, chips and a sauerkraut salad so I’m not hungry. I’m eating some jelly beans for dinner
