  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Attention What are you having for dinner?

I should not have gone to the grocery store on an empty stomach. I just went for diet soda and apple. I should not have walked by the bakery section. I picked up a pan of cornbread (sweetened type). I've already ate half the pan with each piece topped with whipped cream (from a squirt can)...that equals up to 1,000 calories.

My guy made a tuna dump casserole and it was absolutely delicious. He also made a taco bean casserole that was also amazing. He really enjoys cooking and trying out new recipes.

I'm not sure what supper will be. I have a double batch of tomato sauce starting to simmer on the stove. It will take a while to cook the tomatoes down. I posted the recipe on another thread. "On Topic Discussion Cooking questions".
I'm out of olive oil Sunflower will work. I added a half teaspoon of dried bell pepper for a back flavor and a couple of tablespoons of McCormick Pinch of Italian mix. Tastes good so far as for salt and pepper.

mmmmmmm

A cold plate of prime rib roast (med to rare) and the roasted veg and potato with a dressing of horseradish and aoili.

I have a ZOOM meeting so need a plate I can pick through during.

I had a very healthy dinner.

My Bologna has a first name....It's O S C A R.....

And a piece of pumpkin pie with whipped cream.

Healthy healthy!

If it's served with wine it might make the Zoom meeting more bearable. Tip: put the wine in a mug, and blow on it before sip. People will think it's hot tea.
you know me so well

I couldn't even finish the meal.

The meeting made me want to heave.

Well now I have to ask - what about the meeting made dinner unpalatable?

A place called the Lazy Dog which has very good food had some tv dinners so we bought a bunch of those. They are really good.

So damn delicious. I just kept licking and licking. I might have seconds.

Well, I know this is will be a horrifying shock... But some people have (gasp!) dirty minds, and think...ah...er...dirty thoughts.

I'm just grateful for how squeaky clean this forum is overall, without dirty thoughts and pictures that could plague a lesser forum.
