  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Attention What are you having for dinner?

Stuffed burgers w/ cheddar bacon and jalapeno topped with sauteed mushroom and grilled onions horseradish & mayo inside a sesame seed bun, coleslaw & potato salad! Left overs from Fathers day got 3 nights of meals out of 1 preparation, I love it when it works like that where all i have to do is cook no prep needed!

A prepackaged heat and serve "Mediterranean bowl", whole wheat bread, and salad. I also had a chocolate Hostess Baby Bundt that was on the clearance shelf that I should have resisted, but didn't.

Thanks ill have to try that all my house seems to know is lemon pepper it gets boring!
Maybe making a ginger butter, or trying a terryaki glaze would be good. Also, that sauce served with gyoza would be good on fish (soy, scallions, sessame oil & vinegar).

I love tilapia because it tastes like bream to me, and is packaged so neatly. But I can see how it could get boring.

was yesterday but i liked it enough that im still thinking of it - nice block of tuna, seared both sides, pink in the middle. Served with ponzu/soy/ginger/chili oil glaze bubbled up in the pan at the last minute, and rice made with chicken stock and shallots.

Tonight, New York Strip with broccoli greens and a salad after smoked chicken livers on sourdough toast,

Left over stuffed green pepper that was from a box dinner. I finished one leftover. Good to get rid of leftovers.

A flung together "Indian inspired" curry vegetable concoction. Whole wheat bread. Cherries. Not the greatest dinner--but at least it's a bit of change from the rut of late!

Minted lamb kebabs, rice (long grained, mixed), sweet potato wedges and green salad followed by Eton Mess (raspberries, raspberry coulis, crushed lemon meringues, vanilla ice cream).
