Attention What are you having for dinner?

Our "family" tuna casserole is one of my favorite dishes. Haven't had it in many many years. Sometimes my Mom would add green peas to the dish with crushed potato chips on top for crunch. What makes it a "dump" type of dish for you?
Ours also have peas. We use egg noodles and they are not cook before, they cook as the casserole bakes. Everything goes into the baking dish in a couple of layers. It is very simple and like I said, easy to make. I could send you the recipe if you like.

Please do send it!

Tonight I made Chinese Pork in the crock pot. Very inexpensive cut of meat - cooked slowly all day so tender as hell. Delicious and one of those "easy meals" I need to do more often.

This would be the frozen egg noodles, or the "dry" egg noodles?

I don't see a Thanksgiving cooking thread this year, so I'm gonna hijack Vannie's for the purpose. There is a turkey and a ham in the freezer downstairs, but I'm not cooking either just for me. Will do non-traditional this year.

Two pork tenderloins are in the fridge in the garage, and I'll roll them in bacon, and roast with a honeyed glaze. Will freeze slices back in vacuum bags to serve as lunches at work for a few weeks.

Also have some frighteningly large prawns I'll thaw today to stir fry with sweet peppers and onions and garlic Thursday.

Today, I'm making a cranberry and orange chutney which I often do for Christmas. And I'm making pie crusts this morning, and will fill one with a dutch apple pie, and the other probably pecan. Likely will share those come the weekend with neighbors.

Also thinking of making those cafeteria rolls I love, today. Will bake a few sweet potatoes and prepare them so I only have to reheat them Thanksgiving. Thinking of adding cardamom to them instead of just simple cinnamon. I don't sweeten them, just whip with cream and butter and spice.

Tomorrow, I'll roast some cauliflower and split brussel sprouts.

Also thinking of baking a pound cake Sunday to take to work Monday with frozen peach slices. Always a treat, and no one is likely to have had them for the holiday.

Baked salmon fillet, tempura prawns, baked potatoes, green salad with fennel and grapes. A chocolate and cream concoction to follow.

We had a nice day yesterday so I decided to take advantage of it and a buddy came over we had a few beers - grilled some steaks - baked potato - tossed salad. Pretty soon I need to put the grill away for the California winter (meaning until March)

Steak tips and mushrooms with a cream sauce topped on riced cauliflower

Last night we had home made chicken tiki masala with quinoa and naan bread, so good. We also had a caprice salad with a balsamic dressing. My guy really knows how to cook.

Baked ham with orange glaze, pigs in blankets (I made a batch to freeze for Christmas plus a few extras for today), sliced green beans, roast potatoes followed by honeycomb and caramel cheesecake.
