Homemade chicken noodle soup with carrots and parsnips

I worked on an antique cabinet most of the day, and took out a ribeye from 2024 from the freezer. Will grill it and do some fries. Low luster, but good eats.

I had pasta with chorizo and butter beans and a tomato sauce (tinned and fresh tomatoes, onions, celery, sweet red pepper, chilli peppers). Served with grated Red Leicester cheese as I had no Parmesan.

White menudo. It's white and not the typical red menudo because it has anaheim green chilis and mint instead of red guajillo chilis.

Temperature is dropping and the rain is getting near - so I had spaghetti and sausage with garlic bread and a tossed salad.

Homemade meatloaf - baked potato - tossed salad.

And I always make 2 meatloafs when I make them so I have a second one in the freezer ready for another day.

I made a really good Sunday gravy today in the oven.

I nestled Italian hot sausage (lots of fennel) along with some meatballs and thick cut boneless pork loin cuts into a roasting pan. Did several cans of crushed tomatoes and lots of garlic and extra virgin olive oil along with seasoning.

Covered and placed in the oven for 4 hours.

Made fresh farfalle pasta. Locatelli on top.

A lot leftover for my Nephew and his wife to have dinner with me Sunday. Rich sauce and delicious.

Chinese pork in the crock pot. I hate the crock pot - you smell the food cooking for hours and hours before you can eat it!
