BioShock 2! It's so flipping good! And so far, of what I've played, a very good story and the graphics are equivalent if not better then the first, so pretty.

I pre-ordered it a few weeks ago and was able to download it this morning off of steam.

Bioshock 2 and Dante's Inferno. Bioshock 2's MP sucks IMO. Perhaps it's because I suck it, but they should have left it out. More space for the SP mode which made it famous.

OMG I just finished New Super Mario Bros. Wii

That game kicked so much ass. I loved the graphics, visuals, and music. And the levels were great too and some were pretty challenging. Although it is a pretty easy game to beat. But it's a lot more fun if you can find people to play with in co-op. Tons of advantages for co-op too. But it can still be done with just single player.

But damn I love that spinny hat. I heart spinny hat. The mini mushroom is really great too if you just need to speed through a level. Running on water and jumping ridiculously high and far is fun. Also even though the mid air twist looks pretty useless, it's very useful if you do that while you are doing a dash jump in mid air.

I feel that I need to go out and get Mario Galaxy now. It's quite obvious that lots of the visuals, effects, and character designs were taken from it.

Picked up Bioshock 2 and Dante's Inferno earlier today. Played both of them, and am loving them.

In regards to Everquest 2: the community is friendlier, but the game doesn't have the same "sucks you in" feel that WoW has. I don't know what it was, but I stopped playing it after only around a month and went back to WoW. There's life for ya

Resident Evil 5! Boyfriend helped me get the platinum today.

That was nothing compared to the Ndesu boss fight on professional mode No joke, took me like 30 attempts in a row.

Managed to get the platinum on Dante's Inferno (by far the easiest one I've done yet). I still think it was an enjoyable game, even though it only took me 2 playthroughs to platinum, and my second run took only 4.5 hours

Just some advice to anyone who's playing this btw - upgrade your holy abilities as soon as possible (mainly your cross moves) as these will save your ass for most of the game. But make sure to get 2 or 3 decent attack moves in unholy, as you'll need them for the end boss.

Jumping headshot is worse, but then I had infinite rockets before I did professional. lol

Won't be getting Dante's Inferno - too many boobies everywhere!

As much as I love the new Chris Redfield, I kinda thought RE5 didn't have anywhere near the re-playability of the originals.

Just beat Mass Effect 2, i bought it the day of release though, took me awhile because I started off as a soldier my first time around and went through a lot of the game actually. Did zero mining for shit and just fucked up, then I started a new game as a vanguard and completed it with that class. Fucking awesome.


Will be playing alien vs predator 3 ALLLL tomorrow


Oh and I never played the original Mass Effect. Got a pretty good gist of the story but god damn I almost cried at the ending. Yeah, nothing major, but I love how bioware games end im so ready for Mass Effect 3!!! Even though I have no fucking idea what the fuck reapers are lmao.

I got jumping headshot by accident, so it wasn't too bad for me. I thought deflecting an arrow with your knife would be really hard, but it wasn't nearly as bad as it sounds. It's funny, because I just platinumed the game too, and I bought it on day 1 almost a year ago!

Is Ndesu the giant troll thing? If it is, it took me forever to beat on professional too.

I'm excited to play as Rebecca Chambers and Barry Burton (and Excella and Josh) in the new DLC coming out soon.

Grand Theft Auto IV, been playing online I'm 4 trophies away from getting a Platinum trophy but its hard as hell without people to help me get them.

Aw, really? I thought that was one of its better features. I've completed it all the way through like 6 times.

I dunno how to describe it, I mean with 5, sure I can play it over again but with the first 3 I had the same excitment playing it over again as I did playing it for the first time, I think it's because I was more invested in the stories back then, RE5 just kinda seems like a remake of 4 and I don't really care for the whole Las Plagas storyline, though I did appreciate the fact that they started to bring in some of Umbrella's history back into the fold.

I suppose its the same with pretty much any sequel nowadays, rarely do you get one that lives up to and surpasses the original.

I'll be getting AVP3 on Friday and maybe give Mass Effect 2 a go, even though I haven't played the original.

I still think the best Resident Evil was Resident Evil 2, RE4 only got huge praise because of its gameplay, which is probably why RE5 did so well in the end. With the new DLC content for RE5 it should make waiting for RE6 to be a breeze.

What I'm going to be pissed off if that damn DLC that is coming out with Jill and Chris was already on the game just needed a key like the damn Vs. DLC.

I think the earlier games showed that less is more and by having a really good story, you don't need to be constantly fighting hoards of enemies!

Thats also the problem with having such advanced gaming systems, they can decide to add any extra's they want and charge you as much as they want. In the case of some games, I'd rather just wait for the next installment

P.S.

On a totally different note, I'd love to see a decent Terminator game! I really think it would be awesome to have a Terminator version of Call of Duty! I've thought about that idea for ages now, how great it would be to have a Call of Duty type game based in the wars against Skynet. I also think it would be good to have a decent RPG on the Xbox, for instance, porting Star Trek Online

I also can't wait to play Aliens:Colonial Marines!
