What Are You Playing?

Animal Crossing and Final Fantasy 7.

When Final Fantasy 13 arrives on my doorstep on the 9th, that's all i'm going to be doing ;)

Picked up Uncharted 2 on impulse today. Checked out the reviews after I got home and was happy to see that it is very highly rated (even though that doesn't always mean so much). I'm looking forward to starting it up in just a bit.

Its one hell of a good game I already finished it 100% and I loved the graphics especially in 1080p.

Sweet. I'm playing on the same format. Did you do the multi-player at all? I read that they just released DLC for it.

I don't play Multi-player enough to really purchase the DLC. I had fun playing the CO-OP and the Treasure missions.

I just finished my first playthrough of Heavy Rain, and it will definitely get multiple playthroughs from me. There are certain decisions that I wanna make differently just to see how things play out.

This game is really hard to put down. You're put into really INTENSE situations, and you start to panic with the controls kinda like how you would react in real life. And I did NOT see the identity of the killer coming...it was a total shock! But I don't wanna spoil anything. I can't get over how awesome this game is. It's a definite must for any PS3 owner (plus male nudity doesn't hurt -- although it's not full frontal like GTA)!

Finished my second playthrough! Haven't managed to keep them all alive both times!!! Grr.

It's an amazing game, very beautiful. It works so well!!! I think people's niggles with the controls are just that, I find them really easy to use...

It's a really hard game to describe though, the puzzles are rather good. Just annoyed that I can't get my prologue trophy. lol

I finally got my game and I am working on the trophies. Some of them sound hard.

Super Smash Brothers Brawl.

It's like the only video game I've ever really played (besides the prior game - Melee). Nintendo characters are too fun :)

I'm not a big gamer at all. Don't really like violence, which is why I'm drawn to this game hehe.

Demon's Souls. Oh God, I love this game so much. It's addictive, but I need to stop for a while and take a breather because it's very stressful. There is some scary shit in this game, especially in world 3! Thank goodness I finished it (the world, not the game).

And Pokemon Platinum for the second time. Didn't like my first team so I started over and I like it much better! It's much more enjoyable when you bond with your team.

Brawl is fun. I had to sell it though when I was not working for 3 months. But yay now I work again.

I've been playing One Piece: Unlimited Adventure recently. I enjoyed it when I first got it last year but got stuck at the damn jungle level. I recently started replaying it and am getting pretty far. I am mostly spending the time to level up the characters so that way they can be maxed out and I can get the specials sooner.

Also some of the bosses are pretty damn challenging. I can't really beat a boss with just one character a few usually die. But I played the Grand Battle series and like how the whole battle system and combat has evolved. NO MORE CHIBI TOO! Not only that but the adventure mode is so much fun. The graphics are kinda weak and the story isn't the best but the new funimation voice cast is incredible. The humor and script is pretty funny too and kinda feels like you are watching are playing out a One Piece episode.

The game is really mostly for the fans especially since there are major spoilers that go all the way up to the enies lobby arc. But it truly represents the anime and feel of one piece even with the weak graphics and limited areas. Plus it's just fun to play. I wish unlimited cruise ep 1 and ep 2 would come to america.

But yeah I am thinking about getting a PSP or PS3. Really want to PS3 for blu-ray. But honestly I miss my PSP. Damn that bastard who stole it. PSP's are fun.

Playing some DLC Right now.

Just beat Desperate Escape, which was a lot of fun.
And doable with the AI.

Obtaining the achievements will require a smart person though.

(finished Lost in the Nightmares last week. I am of the opinion that can only be done with another player)

I much preferred the Lost In Nightmares to Desperate Escape.

Me and the boyfriend got the trophies for Desperate Escape last night - it's ridiculous on professional, you get NO ammo!

Basically what we ended up doing was running to all of the checkpoints as quickly as we could because there's no way that you can take out all of the enemies. And in the last bit we just ran from one corner to the other because the big executioner guys took far too long to kill with all the majini running around too!

Beat my first play through of Heavy Rain, also playing Ghostbusters and UP.

I have a feeling my copy will be delayed. I pre-ordered from bestbuy, got 5 bucks off which was nice, because that deal wasn't on when I originally pre-ordered...

Hopefully I get it on the 9th but I doubt it.

Well I liked Lost in the Nightmares' throwback to the original (if you investigate the door enough, you get old school gameplay.)

I would of liked more, like perhaps a "what happened after Wesker and Jill fell..." cutscene.

Personally I found Desperate Escape very riviting... I liked that, I also think I liked it more because I coudl actually play it with the aid of the AI, where it seemed like Lost In the Nightmare's AI was actually retarded...

Hopefully my DLC tides me over until my games arrive.

Apparently FFXIII is going to take you no less than 60 hours to beat.

And thenI got Pokemon on the way, and Splinter Cell in April.

I didn't play Lost In Nightmares with the AI, me and the boyfriend play it every time we go tot he story and the flashback scene pops up before the marshes - we quit and do the DLC and then carry on. I think we're a bit sad???

I've never played a Final Fantasy game before so I get to test my boyfriends copy and then decide whether to get it or not! Yay!
Hey he gets to borrow my clothes I get to borrow his games!

Thanks to stupid UPS I'll only receive it tomorrow................................ ](*,)](*,)

Got my copy of FFXIII last night. Got about in hour in. So far it looks great, but the story hasn't left an impression on me yet.

Been playing the Flash Map pack for Portal (a mod for portal, pc only). :3

Also been playing the demo for Just Cause 2. SO FUN!

Just got my platinum for Heavy Rain. Yay!

I'll be playing Borderlands till I see my boyfriend at the weekend and then we'll probably be playing Final Fantasy!

Am about 4 hours into FFXIII and definitely loving it so far.

Some of my thoughts though...

To me it seemed that the opening sequence was trying to re-create the same kind of atmosphere as VII, but I didn't really find it as engaging.

The story seems very interesting, but I don't think I really like how you have to read up on most of it yourself via the datalog, instead of being told through dialogue and cutscenes.

Really loving the battle system, it's all very fluid. My only problem at the moment is learning to keep track of everything at once :P

I like the crystal system for increasing your abilities (since I was a big fan of the sphere grid), but I seem to be maxing out the nodes quite quickly.

So far, it hasn't disappointed me though :)

That's interesting, it seems I'm going to like it, I'll play it in a few hours :D Btw, what's your favorite FF?
