Another thread inspired this one. Okay, though I should probably be embarrassed for this one, but here's what I'm reading right now:

Knit One, Kill Two

I used to read a lot but have not read for a few years. My eyes need checking but Im afraid to have to wear glasses..:(

Did you know that if one male identical twin identifies himself as homosexual the other twin identifies himself as homosexual only 52% of the time? and if you are poor you have, on average, an IQ 15 points lower then someone from a middle or upper class background? yes this book is full of information, most of it extremely useless, but i must read it for a class that is if I don't bash my brain in with it first.

Right this minute, I'm reading JUB. (!)

As far as books go, however, I'm currently re-reading Tad Williams' "Shadowmarch" because I bought the second in the series ("Shadowplay"), and I don't remember the first.

Main Group Organometallics - but now I want to read the rest of Knit One, Kill Two!

I just finished Neil Gaiman's American Gods... it was really good, but now I've got nothing to read :(

GONE by Jonathan Kellerman. I like his Alex Delaware series.
I'm never embarrassed to admit I read popular fiction. It's good fun.

For myself, I'm reading Vellum by Hal Duncan. It's basically about reality itself and Angels and Demons going to war. Sounds fun, eh? WRONG! This book is not easy to read >_< But once you get into it, its enthralling.

For School I had to read The Spirit Catches you and you Fall Down by Anne Fadiman. Its about a Hmong girl with epilepsy who's family had immigrated to America fleeing the Laotian war.

The One Eyed God - Odin and the Indo-European Germanic Mannebunde by Kris Kershaw

I'm almost finished "Collapse" by Jared Diamond.

I've been reading it on-and-off for quite a while at this point... it's very interesting but a little bit dull... and during the school year I don't usually have much time for recreational reading.

I'm reading Barack Obama's second book, "The Audacity of Hope", and The Dalai Lama's "Ethics for the New Millenium".

That in addition to about 25 history textbooks for school!

I'm reading Jim thompson's "The Rip Off" and Daphine DuMaurier's "Rebecca".

"Rebecca" is one of my favorite movies.

if you guys havent read my favorite book of all time, you should look into it.

"The Eyre Affair" by Jasper Fforde. (yes, its 2 Fs)

The single best piece of literature i've EVER read in my entire life!!!

Unfortunately, I no longer enjoy reading much...too hard on the eyes now...

Jared Diamond "the third chimpanzee.' the evolution and future of the human animal'"
John Connolly "the black angel"
&
Kate Mosse "labyrinth"

(yeah, I know, I have too much time on my hands)
