  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

What did you have for dinner?

I've some chicken breast I'll do something with, and have it with salad and a bottle of Pinot Grigio which will be chilled nicely by now.

Fruit to follow. Pineapple with maybe some added strawberries and apricots.

U had leftovers. Rice and veggies, some grilled flank steak that was still in the fridge.

Everyone else was out.

They brought me back a salad.
It was tasty - had apples, cheese, croutons in Romaine.
Sweet dressing to compliment to Granny Smith apples.

I love pork pie - the French Canadian kind!!:D

I'm having homemade beef stew tonight, and biscuits with real butter (a treat for me), and a tossed salad with bleu cheese dressing as a side.

^ -Noiro that looks really good. I'm going to give that a shot soon. And thanks for the low powered microwave tip!! ;)

Spaghetti and sauce, sausage.

Quick trip to my folks to jump start my other car - somebody left the ignition on/lights on and locked the car accidentally.

By the time we could get there after work, the lights were "off"" so to speak - power door locks didn't work, either!

Kids, what are we supposed to do with them? lol
Got a meal out of the deal, anyway.

I have boneless pork chops on the grill, rice and mixed veggies :D

Chicken kabobs marinated all afternoon in an Italian like dressing; baby potatoes with garlic butter (fat free of course), sweet corn and a fresh fruit salad: strawberries, blueberries, rasberries, and a few pineapple all mixed.

For dessert, since it's the boy's birthday, a chocolate ice cream cake.

I agree, Orion. Those chops and veggies sound great.

We had sloppy joes tonight.
Quick and Easy - and I didn't have to cook it!

Sirloin Steak (on the grill)
Sauteed Onions and Mushrooms
Julienne Potatoes au Gratin
Garlic Bread
Caesar Salad

Elderly little doggie had little slivers of the steak with her supper instead of ground beef (Baby Rice Cereal) and she ate it all up!

A chicken and shrimp pasta dish with what I call a super* caesar salad.

*Typical caesar salad with added avocado, green onion, etc..

Linguine and whire clam sauce, broccoli, garlic bread, and maybe later a little dish of Starbuck's mocca ice cream :D
