  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

What did you have for dinner?

Sorry Jawk-y

First,'
You are a sailor at heart and everybody knows they thrive on 'horsecock'.

Second,
You are a self proclaimed sub-mariner, we know they live on 'tube steak'.

Third,
I'm Prime Rib and Prawns on the Barbie not pork and beans from a tin can.

Wanna bet how many people won't comprehend this gibe?

Mmmm Buffalo sauce agrees with my taste buds but not my tummy... i still get medicated up and then eat to my hearts content... lol

Lefty I think you'd do just fine on the prairie...

I did (as usual) get carried away and made Sweet garlic glazed chicken and terriaki chicken with ballpark Brats and roasted veggies and potatoes on the grill... then indoors I boiled some corn and made some southern baked beans

Would you like some egg with that?..
Maybe Tonka Boy Toy can get you some toast too?

Li'l Bit made stir-fried tofu and veggies in a spicy peanut sauce, but he went a little overboard with the Sriracha. !oops!

First taste of the Black Angus Beef followed by coffee and a good cigar on the balcony....that´s life :-)

Hmmm, I see VEGGIES and Potatoes on that plate, Leftykins.

As for me and mine, we had

Grilled Boneless Loin Pork Chops w/Apricot,
Baked Potato
Cabbage Salad
Watermelon
Homemade Ice Cream

This is purely coincidental that I was checking your post AND coming across this pic on FB at the same time.

College Student Gourmet, or ingenuity?

No Coffee Beans were harmed in this cooking chemistry class.
Not sure about the future taste of coffee brewed, but . . .

LOL. I should have known - I WAS expecting something from Leftykins in a similar vein.

This was the dinner thread, not the appetizer or dessert thread, lol.

Similar vein huh?

Speaking of dessert; I just violated my own willpower and gorged myself on triple chocolate cake and whole milk.....

Sounds decadent.

My homemade ice cream had caramel, Hershey's Chocolate, and Walnuts on it.
The other two awake members of the household just brought out more ice cream - store bought -
I am resisting temptation.

To the contrary, I need to head on up.
Didn't get as much rest as usual this weekend.

Nighty Night Donnie Boy... forget sugar plums....may those warm wieners be dancing in your head....

Donnie, Idon't know how you survive with that horrendous diet.

I left some prime beef (including wieners) in your thread. You

and the old fart should do well tonight.

Well -- this was our lunch AND dinner today...

Mashed potatoes with burnt flour gravy (made with vegetable stock), corn and steamed asparagus...

It was SO MUCH that I couldn't even finish... :rotflmao:

Nothing fancy, but a pretty typical meal for us...

:):):)

And I wasn't invited..darn..:rotflmao:

That does look good, What kinda vegetable stock. ( boiled a bunch of vegetables to make the stock. I know you don't use beef, chicken or any kinda meat stock.

I'll have to try that..

A couple of spicy banh mi, one bean curd and one pork meatball. Cheap and tasty.

I succumbed to a glass of three-color jelly (coconut, pandan and coffee in layers) which would be delicious if it wasn't made from the dumbest kind of gelatin, agar.
