  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

What did you have for dinner?

If you want to salivate over some other meals, check out the Crock Pot thread, too.

I'm full, but all this food is making me hungry.

Brown rice, cut up chicken with lite soy sauce and cut up veggies.

Cold salmon left over from yesterday. There's a bottle of something nice chilling in the fridge to go with it.

Corny does have some colorful and enticing dishes, doesn't he?

We had chicken stir fry, followed by homemade strawberry shortcakes w/ whipped cream.

Barbeque meatloaf, potatoes au gratin, honeybutter rolls with dulce du leche jello for dessert

Grilled again (I missed the move for this thread)

T-Bones...on SALE for $4.99/lb!)
Sauteed Onions and Mushrooms
Leftover Grilled Red Potato Salad with White Wine and Bacon Vinaigrette Dressing
I had a green salad also
He had some cottage cheese with a sliced tomato on it

I also made up a five bean salad that has to marinade for two days, have no idea what it is going to go with, but it is a great veggie dish when it is stinking hot (forecast is low 90's for the next few days).

I had been craving pad thai for a while, so I ordered takeout. Unfortunately, the only decent restaurant that serves pad thai AND offers takeout is a Singaporean place, so it wasn't quite what I was expecting. It was good, but it didn't satisfy my craving. *sigh*

Lazy night (and cheap)

Rotisserie Chicken on sale for $5
Fresh new crop sweet corn 3 ears for a buck
Bean Salad although it really should have sat another day huge batch for $2

Dinner for 2 with leftovers $4 each.

I had some rotisserie chicken and then we had strawberry shortcake.

Had a late lunch, family ate on the way back from an appt.
