What did you have for dinner?

Fried chicken with lime, chilli and coriander. Delicious. No booze; I'm having a few dry days.

Your Haystack reminds me of an AMish auction/dinner I attended several years ago -- the Haystack was the dinner offering --
 
I thawed out a chicken pie I froze a month ago.
with mashed potatoes and corn on the cob
 
"Pad Thai for Two" - one of those noodles-and-sauce meals that comes out of a box. Brand is Simply Asia or something like that...

I added a large helping of bean sprouts, chopped Portabella mushrooms, some cut green beans, and about a cup of leftover roasted chicken from Monday. Also, for additional spices, I added black pepper, and some curry. (I ate half of this concoction, and I put the other half in the refrigerator, I intend to eat that second half 2 or 3 days from now.)

Tossed lettuce salad with honey mustard vinaigrette dressing, and sprinkled with sesame seeds and milled flax seed.
 
Waiting for stuffed pepper - strips! They were getting a little pat their prime, so my daughter cleaned them up and did the best she could. Dishing out now. Smells great.

Last night linguine w/ marinara sauce, sausage, a nice glass of Cabernet Sauvignon.
 
I grilled corn on the cob
fresh salad
Tuna Steaks
and made my own shrimp low mein in the wok.

Sean was over and loved it all
