  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

What do you see in this picture?

seems like a disgusting way to get attention: controversy. you know how i feel about, because its not just two skyscrapers, its two buildings that look like the twin towers.

if you want to get that 'building in the clouds' look, why use the twin towers as a template?

now i know a little more back story, it wouldn't be good publicity, and in the end people can build whatever they want.

I saw the photo before it appeared in this thread, but my first thought wasn't 9/11. My first thought was, "I hope they move together in the wind."

I didn't really see the Twin Towers. I might have thought that had the protruding sections been confined to each individual tower and closer to the top instead of joining them half-way down, but my first thought was a glorified version of the Petronas Towers with their joining sky bridge.

The tetris design is nothing new. When I saw the dense blocks, I instantly remember Habitat 67 in Montreal.

And no, I didn't see the clue. The resemblance is very faint - more like a twin building surrounded by clouds that 9/11 incident.

It didn't take long for me to relate this design to the twin towers and what happened to them on 911.

cute. real cute.

What creative, innovative designers!!!

thank you. But some people can't help but use any opportunity they can to bash Americans. *yawn*
No shame at all...:##: and they sure as hell don't need one of our own giving them more fuel.

umm i cried all day when i watched the news on that day 9/11.
So don't say this building design is to bash Americans. No, this design actually help if they build the building on that site where the twin towers used to be.

Building it somewhere else is the 2nd best choice.
