have any of you heard of this
it allows you to text/electronically share your hiv results with your partner(s) and the results come from the hospital/clinic where you go to get tested.

1. Spambot

2. Suppose you test positive. Would you really want to share that with a partner with something as impersonal as a text? WTF

1. im not a spambot...just because im not sending a link to a guy with a big dick doesnt make me a spambot.

2. if you feel uncomfortable sharing your status if you turn up hiv postive, you can withdraw yourself from the site. i wouldnt want to show that to anyone either and if that is the case, you wouldnt have to. you know when you get tested, and you'd want to see your results first of course. handle your private business first and make that determination. but you dont have to reveal if u turn up poz

...next?

1. A first post naming a service is normally indicative of a spambot.

2. As it's an interesting moral/personal subject, I've removed the reference and let it stand.

well not a bot and i dont work for the site. just was curious on feedback from others but saw it wasnt mentioned in this forum or many other places so i ran across this site and decided to create a thread about it....

hmmm...can we at least mention the name of the service so people can read more about it in detail? is this site run in china or something? lol suddenly i feel my freedom of speech being compromised :(

1. You should've sent the link with the big dicked guy. It would've greased your reception here a lot more... spambot...

2. In what way are you affiliated with the program you've come here to "inquire" about?

3. Could you explain how your site deals with HIPPA? That's a lot of medical information up for grabs.

4. If the question of valid test results is even on the table between two people, why are they having sex? How skeezy is that? I'm clean bebe, here's a 2nd hand company that has verified my test results....

5. So is this CARFAX for ass?

6. Could the records be faked? And if so, how big is your companies insurance policies?

7. If a person fakes a test and gets into your system, then infects another person with HIV, what is your company going to do about that?

Ugh. Funky ass bitches who don't know how to read the User agreements and CoC are beneath contempt...

And who exactly is "we"?

well if i were allowed to at least mention the site perhaps you could read more on it but i guess im being silenced.

2. im not affiliated with the site in any manner. id thought of the idea years ago and was interested in developing something similar until i already saw it being done. i support new ideas in preventing HIV and i thought this was a good approach.

3. you could easily refer to the site, but again im being silenced. you can allow 3rd parties access to your medical records/test results and i believe this is the case as it regards to HIPPA. if you sign and give someone permission to access your results, there are no issues.

4. let's keep it real. a good portion of both gay and straight people "hookup" or have one night stands. it's notorious in the gay lifestyle. but whether its a one night stand or someone you've been in a relationship with for years, why not get tested regularly (you have to get tested AT LEAST once a year to join) and show your results to your partner(s).

5. im not familiar with carfax so i dont know

6. um, i dont think people who've been involved with HIV prevention would want to fake someone's results. i mean, have SOME faith in mankind. the results come from the hospitals/clinics so if there is any mishandling it's probably on their end. plenty of people have gotten hiv meeting people from hookup sites and theres been no talk of suits. at the end of the day people have to be responsible for their actions.

7. the site isnt responsible for anyone who gets hiv, lol. it's not a vaccine or cure! at the end of the day you are responsible for your own actions. this just helps encourage people to get tested and swap hiv results.

Ugh. Funky ass bitches who don't know how to read the User agreements and CoC are beneath contempt...

last i knew there were no user agreements and COC under our right to free speech. lol.

and why are you so mad calling me bad words? i was never mean to you, there is no need to call me a bitch.

There are people who want to kill us for being gay. I don't have any faith in mankind. You do know that there have been instances of people being infected with HIV by strangers sticking/pricking them with needles, yeah?

It is not unimaginable to think a person who works in the health care industry and would have access to change/alter a test result for malicious purposes. The company you're pushing would be directly between that person and that person's victim... And a company who doesn't/wouldn't account for that possibility doesn't need to exist.

If this company is willing to "vouch" for the participants then yes, they do accept responsibility if they are in error of reporting a HIV patient.

I haven't called you anything except a spambot, but you've chosen to answer to bitch.

Read this site's user agreement and CoC.

wow, you're very abrasive and bitter for absolutely no reason. that's sad. bless your heart...but anyways...

i think you really are paranoid. no one is going to go around faking people's test results and at least one of the members of this program is gay himself, lol...so i guess you're gonna say some gays have a thing against other gays and will try to do anything to infect others, lol...you're very paranoid and bogus. if you believe that then there's no point in EVER getting tested because even hospitals and clinics could be faking test results as we speak!!!! COME ON!!! lol. you sound ridiculous. and this company isnt VOUCHING for anyone...they are simple a middle man relaying test results from a hospital/clinic. that's all.

The whole thing sounds sketchy.

Why does anyone need a middleman?

at least one of the members of this program is gay himself

That's quite interesting, especially since it isn't mentioned on the website. Apart from that ... sorry - I'm not buying it. People try to explain you that creating an account here to advertise an URL is frowned upon and you immediately invoke some pseudo-outrage about free speech? Really? The right for advertisement on a private webforum .. or what? And yes, advertisement - otherwise you would have said WHAT this service is, instead of just announcing the url in the title.

So either you can now try to sensibly discuss the topic and avoid the the spamming. Or be treated like a spammer.

By the way .. you guys might want to read up on how the HPV vaccine works.

well because some people aren't honest about their sexual health, don't care, or just don't know. it gets people in the habit of getting tested and sharing that information before you go banging someone out. do you care if someone you're about to have sex with is HIV positive or has syphilis or gonorrhea? i do!
to me this isnt much different than getting tested a few times a year, keeping your paperwork, and showing your partner(s). that might seem too procedural so why not just do it quick and electronically? of course you should still be wearing condoms!, especially with people you're not in a relationship with!

Oh and let's not even go there and imagine what one might do with the data if the server would be compromised.

well its a free service too i might add...so you don't need to buy anything.
i understand the sudden new accounts spamming and what not...but come on, this is a TOTALLY different situation, lol....not out for profit or anything, just trying to prevent HIV. i saw it was never mentioned here and wanted to bring it up to see what the gay community HERE thought. I wasnt going to beat around the bush and make a bunch of nonsense threads when i knew this was what i wanted to discuss. i just went straight to the point.
well naturally if you mention a service people would want to know which site you're referring to, lol. why not leave it up to the individual user on the forum to determine if they want to click a link or not?

Oh and let's not even go there and imagine what one might do with the data if the server would be compromised.

well i have my financial information on Amazon as we speak, as do MILLIONS of other people. same for EBAY and other sites. it's a risk we're all taking i guess.
IF someone did try attempt to do something with data, how would it compromise you? If you're negative, yeah that's information someone could use again you, lol...sure! If you're poz and still part of the site, i'm assuming that individual would have no problem with others knowing they are hiv positive, otherwise they wouldve removed themselves from it. this thing is optional and if you turn up poz you can remove yourself. poz people can join though, and instead of sharing your status, you'd be sharing your CD4 count and whatnot.

who says I want to download data that's public anyway? how about I change it? Slander, anyone?

And Amazon does not have my financial information by the way.

Oh and "lol" what a coincidence that you post from the same area where this service is being operated from.
