Greyunderscore, what other sites do/did you frequent? Say past 5 years. The most recent site that I was on (no longer though) was chatterbate.com

I don't think I've ever been to sites like chatterbate. I probably heard someone that sounds very similar to you.

I agree with redfox70. Even if I do have everything written down it never goes as well as I want. Public speaking is not for me.

The only other site that my voice has been on (other then church) is chatterbate and xtube (which then I've put on here) ;-D I too am terrible at public speaking! I get nervous and then my stammering problem comes back full force! Get me in front of a mic though and I'm perfectly fine! ;-D :-D

Lex,
You sound like a disc jockey. Good voice!!

Actually, I was thinking PBS pledge drive. After listening, I had the urge to call up my local station and make a donation. ;)

Well I can't say that I generally record my voice, as I don't really like it.

But I thought it would be fun for others to hear it as well.

Don't be too critical now. :)

To my ear you have a pretty standard American accent. Gentleheart sounds southern (and a little camp!), so I'm guessing you're from further north.

That's correct, sir. I am from Minnesota - go much further, and I could be right in Canada. :)

That's not completely, true. I'm actually closer to central Minnesota than upper Minnesota. A lot of people say that they can tell I'm from the Midwest due to my accent, but I of course don't feel as though I really have one.

I can only distinguish three American accents: New York, Southern and Other. You're definitely in Other!

You live in another country and can distinguish US accents better than I can
I can only recognize Southern. Everyone else sounds very similar.

What were you thinking of donating? I might accept. If you donate enough, I might even give you a tote bag.

I live in a plastic-bag-free city, so I have plenty of tote bags. :-)

Offer me tickets to the hard-to-get local music program and I'll sign up.
