i got Marvel Alliance (for Wii) for X-mas, so i'm playing that one. and we just got Resident Evil (the Umbrella one for Wii).

i like them both.

How do you like Marvel Allience? BF and I just finished all the two-player scenarios on Umbrella Chronicles -- i was dissapointed there weren't more.

We're also about 1/2 way through Lego Star Wars Complete Saga. Sort of went on hiatus with that one.

Anyone here play the tabletop games Heroscape or Marvelscape?

We just started Viva Pinata. I like it because it's a game we can play together. It's rather odd, but kind of fun. Our animals have pretty strange names: Rufus & Chaka Khan, Raidbait, Snuffles Killer.

Day of Defeat is my current mini-obsession.

Should go back to Half-Life 2 Ep 1, then Ep 2. Can't get into Portal and TF2 is fun for about 5 minutes.

Yet to get my hands on Call of Duty 4 but I love the previous COD games.

Been playing a LOT of Halo 3 over Xbox Live...

When I'm not doing that, I'm usually falling back into Fable just to remember what it was like, with brief interludes of Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

I also play Mass Effect from time to time, but I find its just so damned hard to get into! Which is weird, cause I love RPGs...

I'm working on Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles. However I do need to get back to Super Mario Galaxy and get every star.

Is that game worth it? I've heard such mixed reviews that I'm unsure. I loved RE4 and it is one of my all time favorite games, but with the mix of reviews I've seen for this one, I just can't yet justify paying the high price for it.

yeah dude. its not THAT bad.
its gonna be a while before anything beats re4. (although that new one is coming out...it looks bad ass)
anyway, if you find it used, try it out. or hell renting it as well.
i heard mixed reviews too, but i still ended up buying it anyway. it was fun for me.

What bothers me about the new one is that it appears that it will only be on the PS3 for who knows how long. The price of the PS3 as well as the price of games...I won't pay it. Period. PS3 is losing this generation anyway, being way outdone by both Wii and 360. Perhaps it won't take too long to get a Wii version...still, to beat Re4...I don't know if it can be done. That game was so amazingly awesome.

In sticking to the topic...OMG Fire Emblem is irritating the CRAP out of me. This game is seriously only for hardcore fans of the series. The difficulty level is just unforgiving, which makes for a LOT of level replaying. And so far the story really doesn't stand up to the standard Path of Radiance set...it is a good game, but it is going to scare newcomers and even some Fire Emblem vets away from the Fire Emblem series because of the difficulty.
