What game are you currently playing?

Resident Evil 5 is being released for all systems on the same day! So no fears! :)

I'm currently the proud owner of the limited edition Star Wars PSP. I'm selling my DS because I just don't play it...the games are not appealing to me.

anyways I'm currently splitting my time with the following games....

xbox 360:

Burnout Paradise
Halo 3
Call of Duty 4

PSP:

Final Fantasy
Final Fantasy tatics
Castlevania: Dracula X chronicles
Star Wars Battlefront Renegade Squadron

What bothers me about the new one is that it appears that it will only be on the PS3 for who knows how long. The price of the PS3 as well as the price of games...I won't pay it. Period. PS3 is losing this generation anyway, being way outdone by both Wii and 360. Perhaps it won't take too long to get a Wii version...still, to beat Re4...I don't know if it can be done. That game was so amazingly awesome.

In sticking to the topic...OMG Fire Emblem is irritating the CRAP out of me.
...
This game is seriously only for hardcore fans of the series..

yeah that game was way too fun(!)...
and the ps3...im still trying to decide if i wanna invest one of my paychecks into it. my brother keeps telling me to do it...i just dunno. haha. i want to...but then i also kinda dont...

fire emblem...i was debating on whether or not to buy it. eh. i dunno. is it worth it in your opinion?

is it really? yessssssssssssssssssssssssssss.

i was scared it was only gonna come out on ps3.
the previews look AMAZING. and equally creeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepy.
haha. :D:D:D:D

Awesome! I believe I'll be getting that the day it comes out then!

Edit: I just looked around a bit, and it appears that the Wii is being left out. I checked several sources, all of which said only PS3 and 360. I have neither. Maybe by whenever it comes out I'll have one...

Fire Emblem...it really depends on how much you like the series to begin with. When you start, basically the enemies are overlevelled and will give your characters a very hard time. In chapters 2 and 3, that doesn't seem to be the case, but things are still rough with the occasional critical hit...I'm still in chapter 3, so I can't say for anything after that.

I've reset MANY MANY times because I refuse to lose even one unit. I'm too perfectionist to let them die. They added "Battle Saves" which let you save at any time during the battle, and you can return to that point should you die. That relieves a tiny bit of the pressure, but not much. Especially since I never think to use it.

I say, if you already really like Fire Emblem, it is worth it. If you get frustrated easily, you may want to wait, because this is the most frustrating Fire Emblem to date. Still, of what I've played, I'd give it a 7 of 10. The graphics haven't really improved, and the story isn't as good as Path of Radiance, but it's still a good game.

most games are all kiddy on it anyway.:( but it is still a fun system.
bleh. that sucks. we have the 360 at my house, but its my roommates..
dunno if he will be around in the next few months. haha.

and i guess i will just rent the fire emblem.
i would hate to waste $$ on something i didnt like/wouldnt like. eh.
haha.

Assassin's Creed - PS3/HDTV/Home Theater Surround sound

Is it just me, or is Altair really hot?!

he's hot...from what i've seen

Does yours Freeze? I've heard that it can cause your PS3 to completely crash and it'll stop reading discs or that the game just freezes.

I'm playing FIFA08 & Heavenly Sword

All I can figure is that they have to do it differently for the Wii's motion sensing technology, like they did with RE4.

Yeah, for me I knew I'd want it, so I wound up getting it. For people who only think they might like it, it is definitely a rent first game.

PS3 has a motion sensing function too I didnt even know about it until I was playing heavenly sword and you can direct weapons and such with the remote.

My sister laughed b/c ever since I was little I've had a habit of moving the remote when I play a game as if that would help...but now it does :D

The PS3's sixaxis 'motion sense' is really dodgy and very tacked on. Quite honestly, compared to the Wii, and it must be considering they are in the same market, it doesn't really deserve or need the function.

Anyway, to answer the question: I'm addicted to Rock Band and Mass Effect at the moment, but I spend the most time playing Halo 3. I like it because I'm actually good at it. You know, with Halo 1 and 2, I die almost instantly every time I take two steps on a map online. But Halo 3 seems so much easier for me to take control of.

Mass Effect wouldn't ordinarily be my type of game but it's just super addictive for some reason and I haven't even scratched the surface of it.

Finally Rock Band also wouldn't ordinarily be the type of game I like mostly because I don't know a good 60-70% of the songs on the game, and don't particularly enjoy hearing a good 30-40% of them. But I play drums on the game, which for me, totally justifies the price.

Haha, I just found out someone got me RE Umbrella Chronicles for Christmas but lost it. Looks like I get to play anyway.

But for now, I'm switching between Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I love the parallels between Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess.

To the guys who are also playing Burnout Paradise, regardless of system: what other Burnouts have you played and how does this one rank amongst the others?

I'm curious as well. I've only played Burnout Revenge, but I never could and still can't get enough of it. I'm interested in hearing how Burnout Paradise ranks.

Just playing Devil May Cry 4 at the mo, awesome game, trying to learn to pull off Ex Exceed attacks with Nero but Dante Must Die mode is kicking my ass! Bearly got through mission 18.

Professor Layton & The Curious Village on the DS. it's a brilliant game. i love it.
