It's because people who aren't deep love to pretend they are. The ones who are don't need to post shit like that.
 
I find facebook so irritating lately.
- Useless invites (10x, because your first refusal wasn't clearn enough :p)
- People who add you for nothing. You delete them months later, and they add you again...?
- Privacy settings that change every six months.
- Barely anyone really talks to you, though everyone talks about themselves.

I temporarily changed my name and pic to Bing Crosby so they would delete. They didn't do shit lol.
 
What, sorry I was just spending a quiet evening in front of the fire after a long walk on a rainy beach. Time to watch a foreign fim?

Seriously, block the application. When I don't want to see or play an application, I block it.

Instead of complaining about it, Facebook allows those who aren't interested to hide it or block it.

This and it also annoys me when some people update their status like every 15 minutes. Geez, it's FB, not a surveillance camera.
 
LOL i laughed at some of their writeups and some of them are friends of mine, and it's pretty funny how it's one of those cases where it sounded deep and penetrating - and lyrical - in their head but to others, it's just shit.
 
As one of the last humans not to be on Facebook, would you advise it? I'm not really against it, but I've watched it really change people...not against change either, I just wonder what you think about it.
 
Would u rather be spammed by sexbots on bebo, if you dont like facebook then do yourself a favor and stop logging onto it. You will be much happier and wont have to put up with people doing wat they like to do eg. Playing facebook games, updating statuses

I'm pretty sure I saw those philosophies (term used lightly) in a chain mail in the late 90's early 2000's. Thankfully I don't have friends who rehash old corny chain letters.
 
I don't mind the philosophers. Or much of anybody on facebook. To me, their status updates are simply straight lines that I can come up with some smart ass-y comment to.
