What is sex?

Do you have to "cum" for it to be sex?

Women sometimes fake it, so did the man alone have sex with her/him and the woman/bottom just facilitated his orgasm (sex)?

Cum or no cum as long as the penis penetrates the ass/vagina is that sex?

How many penetration strokes equal sex?

If the man just puts it in once and pulls it out can he say he had sex with the person?

So again i ask, what is sex?

good questions.

i used to think u had to cum for it to be sex (or at least one partner) but i guess i dont think it is necessary.

i think penetration automatically makes it sex so maybe once is enough

you have to be straight to have sex

:p

Any kind of intimate contact (either alone or with someone else) is a form of sex. If you get some sort of sexual gratification out of it, it's sex. Orgasm is certainly not a requirement.

The word SEX is an ever evolving one. Fifty years ago it was used primarily to designate male or female. D.H. Lawrence and James Joyce told us plenty about doing it, but I do not remember their stating the concept of having it.

I can't recall reading a reference to "having" sex until the nineteen sixties. In my long ago youth," having sex "suggested intercourse only, with or without orgasm.

I find it difficult to give a comprehensive definition today. I do occasionally remember the word.

when you find out what it is, would you please let me know. it maybe something i have been missing and should know something about it.

i cannot find it in my lexicon, regardless of how many times i search.

just for general intellectual purposes you understand - as for reality, it sucks - (pardon the bad pun)](*,)](*,)

Technically speaking, having an orgasm whilst murdering and dissecting someone could be considered having sex, I suppose. It's all a matter of perspective.

Masochists can orgasm from being tied up and beaten or whipped. Sex comes in many forms, and it's not always what you might think of as 'traditional'.

I imagine it just depends on who you ask as we all have our own beliefs and definations ...
I used to believe that "Sex" was only if a Vagina was penetrated ; anything else was just sexual fun/sport BUT not actual sex .....
But now with all the stds etc ... I'd have to say that sex is whenever one person gives and another person receives bodily fluids ...

Yes I have flogged/paddled men and women and it was sex. :)

Late one summer night a few years ago I stumbled into a local leather bar and there was this guy tied to a post with his shirt off and his buddy was flogging him with a cat of nine tails.

Everyone was acting 'normal,' chatting about the weather and having drinks.

If Ken and Patrick are coitus (someone will learn a new word today) and Alexander walks in, it can be said that Alexander walked in on Ken and Patrick having sex.

Key word having.

If i am eating a Quiznos sub, i havent eaten it yet but i am eating it. I would only have eaten the sub if all of it went into my tummy and perhaps even got digested, only then can i say i have eaten the sub.

Thus eaten is the completion of the eating and had is the completion of the having, so at the end of the day it would mean that you have not had sex until you have had an orgasm, since an orgasm is the final stage of the sex act.

So in order to have "had sex" one would have to penetrate and achieve orgasm from said penetration :)
