Well, one connects outSIDE of JUB. I've met a few JUBBERS in real life, and there're a few on my fb friend's list.

Again, there is no way for me to know who's genuine and who's a troll. Also, this is purely a personal choice. I'm at a loss as to why people are so offended by my personal choice? Have I said somewhere that I want to force everyone here to have the same view as I do?

This is the thing about JUB that every once in a while reminds me to not take you guys too seriously. The majority here seems to want to bully people into conforming to a certain set of beliefs. No matter how many times I've tried to make clear that this is my personal choice purely for me, people here want to bully me into conforming with the majority belief here. Some have accused me of making things up while others have accused me of being a troll. For not conforming with the majority belief here?

Again, it's my personal choice to not see you guys as real world entities. Sure, it's fun to post here for your opinions, but I would never bet my life or anything important in my life on anyone here. Unless I'm trying to persuade anyone else here to hold the same opinion as I do, I fail to see why it's so important for you guys to try to bully me into holding the same opinion as ya'll.
 
No one was offended by your personal choice, nor do they really care. You put it out there and you put out there in a way where it kind of insulted people here. Please don't attempt to victim status yourself.

An apology by its existence claims that you didn't wish an individual to be hurt by your actions. You said you feel like we're all robots and last I checked no-one gave a damn what bots feel; i.e., because they don't feel all at. The apology, such as it is, is currently worth much less than even what you suspect.

Well, ever since I made that statement I have elaborated on oni it. Surely you can see that it is more than simply just bots.

If anything, this thread is another reminder that I shouldn't put too much stock on online personalities. When people wanted to be offended, they can simply focus on one sentence and ignore everything else. Surely, the collection of my thoughts are worth more than one sentence.

Pretty sure everyone else read it too. The issue is that what you think you've managed to convey in the other thread isn't what you've actually 'said' (said meaning typed) - and to compound the matter, you said it in a thread you started about your life happenstances of a depressing/sad nature.


I'll break it down further. Bots aren't considered individuals. Even acknowledging the lowest denominator - that some people must be trolls (of any stripe, and not just trolling-the-adverb) you'd still have to be acknowledging that each representation online is coming from another member of your species. And ya haven't even stated that minimalistic bit o'redemption. You could save everyone's time and talk to yourself via reflection if you actually had that little trust. Always assuming they cared in the first place, of course, as I don't particularly know you beyond general basics.* or you could just google the question and save the 'bots' the emotional investment.

*and I wouldn't start arguing about those stated characteristics being possibly up for grabs, the 'how do you know/really know I didn't lie' gambit. It never turns out well in the long run, it'd be shooting yourself in the foot. At this point you might want to step back and twiddle your thumbs, get your brain in a bit of order. your last few postings seemed t'me to be of the "methinks you doth protest too much about not giving a damn" variety.

You missed the point. I know what you mean. But what you mean (that the Internet is as safe and authentic as 'real life') isn't what you've said in the other thread. You typed badly and then doubled down. I was just explaining where you fucked up, I can only watch someone choke on their tootsies for so long. Think of it as mercy.
