What is your favorite smell?

Hot pizza in box

Sauteed garlic in oil

Rose's

Besides Kittens....a guy's balls.

That reminds me. I saw these at the store today. I had no idea we could choose the degree of dampness.

I love those things! Everybody I know hates them. :( Marry me.

I still buy them on Amazon. I think as kids we just called them soap candy. But they give you great breath.

I liked the Chowards Scented Gum as well. But they were always hard out of the box and the flavor dissipated quickly.

Purple color and square like a Chiclet.

Anyhoo... :)

They still sell them in a lot of the stores up here which is surprising. They give off a 50's vibe.

What is their flavor? They taste like African violet incense.

And while we're at it, what are swedish fish flavored with? It's not cherry. Mixed berries?

Not sure about swedish fish. I always thought of Chowards Violets as kinda a lavender sugar candy vibe.

Doing a lot of catering over the years I used lavender water to make a simple syrup to mix with cut up fruit when it wasn't so sweet. Orange water as well. And Rose water syrup is very good with cantaloupe and other melons that are not up to par.

I know they are violet scent/flavor but they always remind me of lavender.

Fresh cut hay drying in the sun

Lush hemlock boughs in thick fog

New tires

Roast beef with onions and carrots

Fresh tilled earth

Horses

Wild mushrooms

. . . . .

LOL
I don't have a favorite.
Actually I’ll agree with all of those but I’m unfamiliar with the hemlock.

I really like the smell of old books too.

First off:
Cum

I have a fond memory my second year in college when I had just finished jacking off naked. There was a knock on the door, so I quickly threw on some boxers and opened the door. It was my best high school friend arriving unexpectedly. After a quick greeting, the second sentence out of his mouth was, "Man, it smells good in your room," or words to that effect. I've always wondered if he knew what he was smelling. I'm sure he doesn't remember; in any case it's one of the few things I'd never ask him.

After that:
Ocean waves crashing on a sandy beach
Pittosporum in bloom and night-blooming jasmine. We have both in our front yard. Very seductive.

The smell of old art and architecture books where the pages have been glazed with (I think) egg white.

And then:
Garlic cooked in olive oil. (Reminds me that maybe I should make Spaghetti Aglio e Olio tonight.)
Parmesan cheese
Mint (We have a flourishing mint plant at our kitchen sink window.)
Hot chocolate
