My answer a wee while ago would be "get really fucking drunk," but I'll have to go on what it was before I started drinking, which was withdraw.

It very BAD to self medicate but ALOT of people do it.

I read somewhere (Please correct me if I make a major blunder) that 5th major reason people try drugs for the first time is to try and medicate grief.

I just check the web on the major reason why people try drugs.

And "relieving stress" is listed at #4 in the top ten reasons.

Grief is one of life's major stressors.

i dont handle grief very well. i go numb emotionally until it comes out hours, days or weeks later.

I avoid it by going online and/or playing music all day long. The truth is that there's hardly anyone at all I can actually talk to about serious things, let alone to actually get any help or advice with; Either no one cares, they don't know what to tell me or both.


I would never use a therapist, because not only can I not afford their services, but they're a complete stranger who only "cares" because they're paid to. That would just piss me off.
