And chip butties are common over here(esp with some tomato ketchup)

A butty is just a slang word for sandwich.
 
I ordered meatloaf in a restaurant once and asked the waiter for ketchup when the food arrived. He looked horrified and asked what trailer park I was from. Granted, the restaurant was in West Hollywood and the waiter was a standard WeHo Boi... but still...

I always thought ketchup was normal on meatloaf and, if there's meat anywhere in the dish, it HAS to have ketchup on it.

And just the other day I noticed the SuperTarget nearby is carrying the 3 pound economy size bag. If I ever buy that one, I'll have to check into GBA (Gummy Bears Anonymous).

My partner made some terrific meatloaf last night.

He slathers everything with Ketchup; I think it is the Swede in him (remember, kids, the 'Ketchup is a Vegetable' argument several Presidential Administrations ago?). But then again, so do his sisters. Last summer when all 3 of them got together for a week they polished off a 64-ounce bottle in 3 days. :confused:

I rarely use the stuff but did last night because I caught a Killer Cold the other day and I have no taste buds right now. :sick:
