A 2008 Ford Focus. Not my first choice but I got $4,200 in rebates and discounts. I've been really happy with it. I get 35 to 36 MPG. It's that shade of blue which I like but some people hate.

Very nice to all of you... I have two.

A 2006 Mazda3 that is white with black leather and has every bell and whistle. I have about 226K on it so far and expect to get another 226K.

I also have a 2007 Ford F150 Lariat that is black with beige leather. It has 114K on it. I just started replacing the high cost wear items like struts, rotors and maybe I will be doing a transmission overhaul. When that process is all done I should get another 100k before doing it again.

I also will probably add a new exhaust system, cold air intake, and computer chip to gain either power or fuel economy depending on how heavy I lay my foot into it. Add to that four new rims and beefy tires and well she will be all new about 4 thousand later.

it's just not worth it for me to keep the outside of my car clean on a regular basis unless I'm going to be out of town or have a date or something.

I'll give the windows a good cleaning as needed, but that's about it.

I pay thirty bucks a month to a car wash that wipes out the interior, vacuums and does the windows everytime I fill up. I also get a 5% discount at the pump for my membership. Which with the cost of gas gives me a 10 dollar rebate on the gas... so for twenty bucks a damn good wash twice a month... can't beat it. If I had your overpass issues I would simply fill up more frequently and make a free run through the wash.

A great side benefit is that when it rains the water beads off my window so nicely I hardly have to use wipers.

My 2000 Pontiac Montana. It's a hand-me-down from my parents who just got a newer van over the holidays so I got the old van. The image is 2 or so years old, but you get what I drive.

It's in the same condition now if not better than back then. Since I've had it, I've gotten the windows and locks fixed along with getting the van detailed. It has 165K miles on it and still going strong.

A 2009 Fiat Grande Punto, bought for a steal in 2011 with only 14000km (9000 miles) on it. It is many different simultaneous types of win.

It's also red, so it's faster than other identical Puntos of different colours. Fact.
