What Kind of Shoes Do You Wear?

Black lace ups when I need to wear a suit.

Brown Rockports for everyday dress.

Earth Shoe sandals for casual wear.

Tennis shoes for yard work.

I wear 5.10's. Love them. Mine look like these.

It seems a lot of guys here wear quite ugly shoes... But I guess taste is subjective.

For me though, if a guy doesn't have nice shoes and nice hair, they have no appeal.

I usually wear some averagey Lyle & Scott white pilmsoles, but if I'm feeling extra casual I have two pairs of Nike high tops. I have about 10 other pairs including smart shoes, boat shoes, gym shoes etc but they're rarely used.

Living as I do in a great climate, my footwear is normally Birkenstoks, of which I have 8 pair in assorted styles and colors

Different colors and styles of Vans, Clarks desert boots, boat shoes, occasionally (very) Nike sneakers. I have a stupid amount of shoes, but it's only because I'm just like my mom who owns 176 pairs of shoes. I'm not that bad but I do have a lot.

176 pairs! She sounds like my kind of gal:D

I wanna get a pair of those new 'Shape Ups'. They're supposed to be great for improving posture and strengthening back muscles, but @ $120.00 I'll have to wait.

Sketchers is being sued by multiple people who've seriously injured themselves with those. There was a news report about it the other day.

Apparently the company says the shoes are only meant to be worn while walking, not "standing or running" and they are only fit for "healthy people without back or mobility or balance issues."

It's just a gimmick, man, and a dangerous one at that. An independent study (referenced on the news, I don't have a link ATM) proved they don't do jack shit. So, at best, they don't do anything, and at worst, they will hurt you.

Here is one news story about them (which, unlike many, actually bothered to interview an orthopedic surgeon): Consumer Reports Investigates Claims Of Injury From Toning Shoes

I personally know a woman who returned hers for a full refund after a week.
