Yes it was pathetic and ungracious of her to point out other's mistakes. Ellen's dumb cluck style of comedy tries to get laughs any way it can.

Idina Menzel probably appreciated her name being said probably because there is an audience of posssible future fans who didnt know her name and Ellen wanted to get it right. Someone else also mentioned Idina's name.

Idina Menzel surly appreciated it--she is trying to become a household name like she is here--she's doing a lot of interviews--she's staring in a new Broadway musical that is being promoted non-stop here in commercials--she's divorcing and starting out on her own--I can't stand her voice but I'm not into that kind of singing.
