What Piece of Music Are You Listening to Right Now?

"The Battle" from "Gladiator"

this one 10 minute piece of music is basically the entire "Pirates of the Caribbean" score condensed and i think it's really funny that they're so similar. c'mon Klaus and Hans...be a little more original.

"The Battle" from "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe" by Harry Gregson-Williams

"The Throne Room and End Title" from "Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope"

"Escape/Chase/Saying Goodbye" from "E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial" by John Williams

I have to say that this piece of music is gorgeos and very moving, even if i didn't know what it was meant to accompany. It's written like a stand-alone piece, not like music to film. as a matter of fact, the film was re-eddited just to fit the music the way Williams wanted it to be played which is something that almost never happens.

"Remembering Childhood" from "Hook" by John Williams

another really moving Williams piece. If you can't tell, i'm kinda listening to a lot of John Williams today. Hell, I listen to him a lot most days, his music is gorgeous.

Why am I the only person participating in this thread right now? it's sad that more people don't listen to classical/instrumental music...

"Fawkes The Pheonix" from "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" by John Williams

^Agreed. I saw it live and have the CD and VHS of the performance.

"Moonlight Serenade" from "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl" by Klaus Badelt

"Stealing Christmas" from "Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas" by James Horner
