What Piece of Music Are You Listening to Right Now?

Leaves' Eyes - Amhrán (Song of the Winds)

Damien Rice - Eskimo (well, technically 'Silent Night' which is a hidden track)

"Carbon Freeze/Darth Vader's Trap/Departure of Boba Fett" From "Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back" by John Williams

hmm well, I live and breathe classical music. Today, I've listened to:

*Tchaikovsky Symphony no. 4 by the Chicago Symphony!- Everyone should listen to this recording...AMAZING. This is also my favorite Tchaik symphony. Basically this is from the time that he tried to kill himself because of his failed marriages Did I mention he was a closeted...well Not so closeted homosexual? He didn't want to be gay and so he forced himself into marriages that didn't turn out... Okay I'll stop rambling about that one...

*J. Ibert Concerto for Flute and orchestra performed by Emmanuel Phaud (who is quite cute if I may say so myself ;) .

* E. Burton Sonatina for Flute and Piano performed by Jeffrey Khaner- If I could have this man's kid's I would do so in a HEARTBEAT!!!

* S. Mercedante Concerto in E minor performed by James Galway

The last three are pieces that I will be performing for various auditions coming up, so I'm studying these AMAZING flute players so I can perform them well!

Hmm on the docket for right now is Bartok's Concerto for Orchestra.

P.S. I love, love, LOVE classical music :D

"Underwater March" from "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl" by Klaus Badelt

^I love African music. Right now I just finished listening to "Dueling Banjos" by Bela Fleck and Boyd Tinsley

"Sirius Fire" from "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" by Patrick Doyle

Beethoven's 9th (symphony)- Minnesota Orchestra
Schuberts Unfinished Symphony (Symphony No. 8)- Philladelphia Symphony Orchestra
Mahler's 2nd Symphony- Chicago Symphony Orchestra--- If you don't have a recording of Mahler's 2nd Symphony... Go get it!!! It's AMAZING!

"Scheherazade, Op. 35: Largo e Maestoso - Lento - Allegro non tropo - Tranquillo"

"Concerto for Cello and Orchestra: IV. Con moto..." by Stephen Albert
