Well, I grew up with white people... so I tend to find white guys sexy. I also began to like Latinos and Eastern Asians as well. Middle eastern guys are also hot

but as long as the guy just makes me feel comfortable and brings good company, then I'm fine with what ever race.

I actually met this guy who is a mix, black and middle eastern, and he's just hot as hell.

Irish, German and italians are Caucasians, so your list makes no sense.

I had a roommate years ago that was Italian. He told me that he was not white and explained to me that Italians were the forgotten minority. I have found other Italians feel the same way. I have also found many who do consider themselves white.

As for my preference: MEN!!!!!

ooh, this is fun. As a Sub Saharan African/Caucasian person my list goes as follows.

2. White, largely American Cornfed/ jew look, not really into the whole European look.

Indulge my slight rambling.

Honestly, my attractions are mostly race-neutral. Often, I meet dudes of various races/ ethnicities to whom I'm attracted.

I'm really attracted to intelligence, so that trumps almost all else. Smart dudes are sooo hot. I like fitness too--not necessarily muscular and all of that, just enough fitness to indicate that the guy is concerned about his physical well-being.

Honestly though, I must admit that lately (for several years now), I feel a STRONG jones for Mexican men. I don't know why, exactly (although I do have some ideas). I constantly question myself to be sure that I'm not merely a fetishist. Whatever the exact reason, I can't deny that I really like 'em (los mexicanos, I mean). And I can't seem to help myself.

Again though: I'm mostly ethnicity and race-neutral. But, I know that many gay guys have very specific attractions. I've learned to anticipate that, so I don't normally approach guys of certain ethnicities, even though I might feel strongly attracted to them.

I find guys that hail from the Mediterranean (north and south sides) / Turks / Arabs / Persians / South Asians / Brazilians to be very attractive. Being from the South, almost all my experiences have been with white men or black men. Maybe that's why I find the groups above interesting -- less opportunity.

i don't agree. as with everything in life some people have preferences and some don't. in this case it's about being more attracted to people from certain parts of the world. not any different from liking a particular food or drink more than others.

fair features (light skin, light hair, light eyes) and freckles turn me on so terribly, mixed with, probably resulting from, associations of cultural power. this is a fixation i am exploring in my blog... a sort of public therapy for myself if you will... i know that i am ruffling people's feathers in the process, but i think bringing it out in the open will help us deal with the situation whatever our view on the matter may be.

I think he means:
--Caucasian, as in American mutts born in the US whom indentify as "white" that may or may not know their ethnic origins; and
--Europeans, as in natives of Europe such as Italians, Spaniards, Germans, French, Russian, etc

But I agree with you, I see individuals----its too stressful, superficial, and bigoted to try to pick through a group of people SOLELY based on their ancestrial DNA!

Call me an equal-opportunist or call me lazy, but I don't have that much time on my hands to filter thru and "disqaulify" people from my "dating/sex/relationship/social pool" based on their skin color or race or ethnicity
