My biggest turn-off comes when it's really obvious that the cameraman/editor is being lazy. I remember how hearing how great this one Chi Chi La Rue film was and when I get it the first scene has a sequence where one guy turns the other around, kisses his lower back and starts moving his mouth up his spine. However, the camera closed in on the guys face when that action started and just stayed there, even when all the action moved off camera, so the only action captured was the sound of them kissing. Visually, all you could see was a close up of two guys just standing there.

I want to be open to piercings but I just find them distracting. I'm pretty clumsy so piercings just make me think of all the things they could catch on.

Manscaping or lack of can be sexy in different ways but it's just not sexy when it was done 20 minutes before filming and the guy's skin is red and has razor bumps. Call me porn crazy, a voyeur etc. - but: in the past 15 years I've rented & bought more than 1200 gayporn movies from different studios, from bigger & smaller companies. Alright, over 1200 movies - this makes over 5000 scenes.

Of this 5000plus scenes I consider about 20 to 30 really well done and almost flawless. About 50 to 80 scenes are in the main okay for me and worth re-watching.

But, over 4900 of those scenes - and this makes about 98 % - were so disappointing and unsatisfying produced that I banned, sold, and gave away most of the movies immediately (including also major labels like Falcon, Bel Ami Cadinot & Co.)
