  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

What would I dislike about living in the USA?

So, lost lover calls Mirage and Medic1 hispnic.......interesting.

One eason we tend to lump the cross bred Mayan/Aztec as

Hispanic could be because the people that raped and pillaged

them on the way to California were Spanish and bred their language

as well as their DNA and culture in their dominance of the indigenous

peoples.

Them dumb mixed breeds in America...too ignorant to recognize the pristine

qualities of an inbred bloodline unsullied or tainted...EH?

No belamo, I understand that 'sobrano' may serve as your vital fluid, life

blood even (hey, i drink a little drink/smoke a little smokemyself) but "Soberanes"

is an heraldic and family name from old Espana vice Hispaniola.

(!)(*8*)(*8*)(!)
Right: while Spaniards going to America were aware than their blood had either been already tainted by centuries of Jewish and Moorish influence or, having been kept "pure", it still didn't belong to the right families, so that they could mix freely with native Americans and remain as despised by the happy few rulers of Spain and the Empire, the Anglos felt that every single one of their bloodlines was a castle and dominion making of them superior to every other so-called "race" in the world, and the political and economical development, backed by technology invented by a few, served to spread that general fairytale conviction to millions of Anglos, down to Charlton Heston.
When I was a kid I felt special by fancying that my looks derived from old African or Asian ancestors, but I don't see the point in an adult who takes pride on vague traces of people that have not left in him any of their beliefs and their cultural heritage.

If you are interested in my ancestors, try with Quesada, Arana, León, de la Fuente, Muñoz, Ballesteros, Zurita, Granadilla, Gavilán...

WalMart..like cancer, is worlwide.

In fact Walmart is present in only 14 countries outside the US. Walmart claims 2 980 stores outside usa, and 3600 in the usa. Carrefour, the french leader claims 12 500 stores in more than 30 countries, but has a third of the turnover of Walmart and is completely absent from the northern american market. Little known fact, hypercenters (hypermarché in french) were invented in France :)

That's right: Walmart is a powerful nightmare, but not as global as the American pride or annoyance would like to think.
Just like Queen Victoria didn't need to live in the longest, widest and tallest and most opulent palace to be the ruler of the most powerful Empire, the largest American corporation doesn't need to have more stores in more countries than any other to be the biggest. It's enough that it's big in the numbers that matter.

If you want the epitome of global cancer spewing trash into markets, take this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inditex or this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ikea
Walmart is bigger simply because the American Empire economy is bigger, so the rest of the world can be relatively spared to feed the appetites of the corporation, while businessmen from Spain or Sweden need to conquer their 300-million-population and 3.5 sq km-market somewhere else around the world.

I didn't know Hypermarché was called Hypercenter in some places

I'm also Teutonic in more than just my name (Karrrrrlossss) myself
I remember having drawn a family tree, as a kid, by asking my grandpas during my summer holidays about their pas and grandpas, but I got rid of it just a few years later because I found it ultimately uninteresting, and what I posted represents its remains in my memory: satisfied?

#-oyour enemy was sleeping with your enemy and they got

well, in simple English...knocked fucking up?#-o:eek:

What a horrible memory to have to carry in your heart and mind,

you are not vile or mean or bitter...you are a lost lamb who needs

affection, warmth nurturing and understanding.

Want to share a plate of fried chicken n taters with gravy?:-)

He could probably get by in California...if we lightened up on the peppers,

the chilis and soured the wine a bit. I can teach him Texas Chili, Southern

Fried Chicken and Potatoe Salad. Tortillas and guacamole are fresh in damn

near every bodega out here. Bloody Mary.Maria..oh yeah I can learn him them.

oakpope all the countries that you have put in that list, suffer from severe lack of employment opportunities, there are NO jobs in europe at all, except in germany, at this moment. All these countries, like my own (italy),are very developed culturally and economically ,yes, that's true, but to normal citizens, reality is a different one. This is why i feel so lucky living here in the united states and not in europe. The united states is the country of opportunities no matter what people say about it and i love it too,so ....proud american here baby!! hahahaha.

Nobody seems to have hinted at the tension of having to wear a mask more or less conforming to certain established perceptions and rules: true that they exist any and everywhere, but in the USA everything is taken far more seriously, and private lives seem to be just another part, the social part, of the general machinery, quite effective, of economy and politics.
So I think I couldn't afford leading my present chaotical life in a place that may go much farther than silly idle chatter over here when considering that sometimes I talk "suspiciouly" too fast, that I am too old to live very much like a student, that I have been and still am a whoregoer, that my looks, that my attire, that this, that that...

I didnt read the whole thread but here are some of my problems with America.... idk if they have already been talked about.

Our food system is crap. Everything is processed, fake, overpriced shit. It's convenience over quality. At least we have food tho right?

Lots of shallow people (of course lots of great people too). Maybe it's just south florida, but a ton of rude, inconsiderate, shallow people here.

High cost of living depending on which state/city you're in.

Everyone is still way into consumerism (even me, I admit). We always want everything new new new.

Highly reliant on dirty energies.

My advice? If you choose the U.S, DO NOT MOVE TO FLORIDA. I think as a whole the freedoms that we do have outweigh all the negative aspects, but I still think we have a lot to change.

Don't worry, I'm not gonna move there (though in my case it's not a question of immigrating into the USA, lol). No way could I handle the climate...I don't foresee a scenario where I'd be a perpetual snowbird so wherever I live will be year-around.

Northern Florida is worse. At least in the south part you have a lot of immigrants from Cuba (as well as Mexicans near Lake Okeechobee, etc.) who restore some balance to the social fabric.

You boys are just being silly. The microcosms described on this thread are

almost everywhere today, even third world countries. I've seen this.

I think oour Arcadian compadre would most have to adjust to Taco Bell,

Jim Boy Tacos and El Pollo Loco........

Hell, I still dislike them and I've grown up with them.

And worse yet, in California!:##:(*S*):##:

Saw this on another site.

there are only 3 good reasons for ever eating at Taco Bell.
1) You’re high as shit or drunk as fuck.
2) You’re poor as shit and Mexican as fuck.
3) You fucking love diarrhea.

:rotflmao:

Good Atlanta, and true except the

Mexican part....At least in California

we only sink as low as Casa Maria

and only then because of all the

Icy, Icy Cold Cervezas and the

Muy Grande Tequila Shots.

(someone let me know when the posters revert to
english, I might come back)...whatcha mean it might
be a cold day in hell if thsts the case?

Why the posts are NOT in English? If one wants to complain about living USA, it ought to be done in English!!!!

English is not my native! But I live in USA!. In fact English is my fourth language!

I speak Spanish too (my 6th language) but I will not speak it unless I am in Mexico or in Spain or it's a situation that genuinely warrants it. (same about other languages that I speak).

What I don't like about USA? hmmm. I really like it here.

There is no single way of living in US, everybody chooses to live the way they want and in the environment they want.
