Tonight I am making open roast beef sandwich with mushroom sauce along with home made cole slaw. Something a bit different. What about you?
 
We have bean curd sticks braised with chicken and ginger, rice, sweetheart cabbage, steamed savoury egg custard with pork and dried scallops, amongst other things. Then had a cinnamon swirl danish pastry with chopped pecan nuts.
 
T.V. dinner for me. Only I spice it up a bit. It's Michelina's Penne with Chicken. You cook it for twenty minutes. Stir it, and cook it for another 20 minutes. But what I do though is after the first 20 minutes, as I stir the penne and sauce, I cut up Polish Kielbasa (about six pieces) into it, and let it cook the rest of the way. YUM!! :)

We had salmon cakes, fresh cucumbers, and fried squash. Okay, that doesn't exactly go together, but we all wanted different things.

We had falafel in pita pockets with homemade humus and cucumber/red onion salad--we grew the cukes and onions ourselves-- and we had the very first corn on the cob from our garden for dessert--Yum!
 
Well before I left for class I had some tofu satueed in a red pepper and parmesan marinade. On our dinner break from class I got a little hungry so I got a roast beef sandwhich.

i disagree. depending on the variety, they can taste almost steak-like (portabella, for example), or they could have a rich, earthy flavor, like chanterelles (sorry, don't know what they're called in english). i've had some incredible mushroom gravies before.

as for me, i bought a shitload of papa john's to bribe my friends to help me move, so that's what i had. along with some blue moon. oh, and my ex's cock.

and yes, i got ranch dressing to go with the breadsticks.

Point taken. I just need to try eating mushrooms that don't always come on a pizza.
 
ugh. pizza mushrooms are usually canned.

go to a nice italian restaurant (the olive garden doesn't count) and order anything with mushrooms. i guarantee it'll taste a hell of a lot better than mushroom pizza.
