Things I like about Canada (in keeping with this topic)
- there arent many natural disasters. Vancouver has never had a natural disaster. Ive said it before but Ive heard about 'the big one' (earthquake) since 1975 and it hasnt happened . . yet
- gun laws (when you take into account the population ratio, there has not been the school shootings or mass murders that America has had
- Im told we are friendly and the cities are clean so that is a bonus
- Vancouver has been ranked in top 2 for most liveable cities in the World. We may not have the great tourist attractions that other cities in the US has . . . so that would be a negative in my book for not really having an abundance of attractions to see. If I was American, I probably wouldnt visit Vancouver. There's not much to see here
- gay marriage
- I like how we are more quiet when it comes to 'country pride'. (Thats not the right word, you know what I mean). I think America tends to over do it when it comes to 'country pride' . You dont see Canadians chanting "Canada' very often patronage? whats the word?
- the country has produced many talented people
