worst musicals ever - The Rocky Horror Show, Rent, The Phantom of the Opera.

I'm a Cole Porter fan, so I'd have to say Anything Goes and Kiss Me Kate.

Would you say Bernstein's Candide is a musical? If pressed, I'd probably call it an operetta, but the lines are so blurry I'm not sure it's worth even drawing a distinction.

This was the last musical I saw. A foreign film, but the story was beautifully tragic...Anyway, Saawariya means 'beloved.' Watch it.

OMG JetSetJake I didn't even think of old hollywood musicals. Calamity Jane is one of my all time favourite movies ever!!! I have it on Video..

It's one of my all-time favourite movies too. I have it on DVD and I've watched it at least twenty times in the last couple of years! lol Good to find a fellow fan. Most people I mention it to don't even know what I'm talking about

I don't really like musicals. I like the music from Hair and a couple of songs from Jesus Christ Superstar.

Oh dear God, what an impossible question for me. I love a lot of musicals. Just watched Showboat again, so I'll say that's my favorite musical for today.
