i think its stupid theres no need for earrings on a baby why the fuck bother?

IMO, circumcision is a little more serious than ear piercing. I doubt you will see grown ups going through psychological trauma like that of circumcised people over a minuscule piece of missing ear lobe meat. Definitely won't see deep medical psychoanalytical discussions on depression due to ear bling blings.

But I do agree that it's up to the an adult to modify his or her body and not anyone else's.

It's fairly common in some Indian societies for parents to pierce their children's ears at a young age (for both boys and girl) as it represents brains or something. Well represent brains in the child, not the parents.

But unlike ear jewelry, I can never remove my circumcision.

For some cultures, baby piercing is perfectly normal. If the child will be getting it done later in life anyway (for societal conformity), might as well get it over with early. It does heal better this way. I doubt any pierced-from-birthers hold grudges against their parent(s) for doing it.

Now circumcised kids... hmm...
 
^I like circumcised dicks WAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY better. Had one to many bad experiences with foreskins.
 
I don't really have an opinion. I don't have a baby, so it's not something I really think about.

whoever believes they have been psychologically traumatized by being circumcised has got way deeper issues going on. blaming whatever is going on, on being circumcised, is just an easy way out.
 
whats the point? Why dont you let your daughter make the decision on her own rather than treating your baby like a dress up doll.
