Same as yesterday (noon was as oppressing, especially to the sight, as December 14 can be) only chillier towards sunset: I felt more comfortable with gloves.

Snow level is down to four hundred feet. I managed to get errands done during breaks in the half-frozen rain.
Unfortunately I think my fireplace insert has developed an exhaust leak, so I'm going to have to be really careful with any fire tonight!

The same radar weather pattern as the tornadoes that came through Friday is coming through again tonight. I'm only about 25 miles from that Amazon warehouse that got destroyed. It's getting very windy. Some areas north have wind gusts over 80 mph; like a land hurricane they are saying on TV. The National Weather Service is reporting "never-been-seen" forecasts. Global warming is real.
