Not a bright dawn, but the morning and afternoon came as quite sunny, almost perfectly (did not actually look out
) but the early evening has been quite gloomy... Still same temps, quite "balmy", though.

Yesterday hazily sunny to overcast, today overcast and with a whiff of humid freezing. Not colder lows, but highs definitely lower, around 12ºC... lower-ish.

I had to wear thicker socks, because yesterday my cranky leg got stiff at times in a not-sexy way so, definitely, [Mediterranean] winter is here.

Crazy -- this afternoon most of the snow we got in the hills last week was melted off, and now we get a forecast for increasing cold and a possible white Christmas!

Today was balmier again, around 15-16ºC (wore my new, thinner turtle): very, very slightly drizzly in the early morning, then overcast until early evening, when we had some sunshine.

Overcast and hardly drizzly in the very early morning, then some peeks of sunshine until it almost cleared up towards sunset. Rather warm, expected to get even more unusually warm around New Year. Today between 12°C-16°C, night to day.

Like most of the Southeast US it's unusually mild for Christmas time. Even could say WARM since temps (F) will be near 70 for Christmas Day and most of next week. Santa will be wearing shorts and a t-shirt this year. But Merry Christmas to ALL JUBBERS everwhere.

It was a balmy 57 degrees and I think absolute heaven could have only have been better if in the 60's with a light breeze! I may live in Chicago but I don't have to like the snow I've had it for 33 1/2 years...I'M OVER IT!

We got a white Christmas!
Sure, it was mostly sleet and some hail, but early this morning the world was white, and tonight there's more sleet but with snow, too.
